Downgrading to Iphone 15 Pro, worth it?

Same as title. I use the 16 base model and dropped it a bunch so the screen is starting to have issues.
Thinking of going to the 15 pro as its just €600, 6.1 inch screen and doesnt have the gimmicky camera button option.

Still worth it in the big '26?

Used iPhone 14 Pro or 15 pro?

I am currently using a iPhone XR and it’s starting to give out on me. I usually upgrade phones every 5-6 years. The 15 pro is about 25% more expensive from where I live.

Which would be the better option for me?

Got lucky and got a replacement brand new 15 Pro Max

Yesterday, I took my phone for a scheduled out-of-warranty (OW) repair to replace the battery that was at 78% health. I went to their Michigan Ave store in Chicago, so it was a bit busy. After dropping it off and waiting the 1.5 hours, I checked in and was informed that they did not even begin the repair since the store was out of the adhesive they would need. I had two options: come back tomorrow and get it replaced, or swap my existing 15PM that I’ve had since day 1 with a brand new 15PM, for the same price as an OW fix, $99. Obviously, I went for the replacement since I’m not planning on upgrading anytime soon and want to continue to use the 15PM as long as possible.

So far, the phone feels so fresh and much snappier. My old 15PM was starting to get laggy, aside from the terrible daily battery life. Just wanted to share my experience, from having one of the first made 15PM to one made this year!

Is used 15 Pro worth buying?

Hello everyone! I am thinking about buying an used Iphone 15 pro. There arent any options for iphone 16 in my country, so it leaves me with 15 pro as an only option. I really like the looks, the premium feel and fast response of the phone, however ive heard a lot of stories about the horrible battery life and overheating.

I wanna know how bad it actually is. How many hours does your battery last and what do you use for?

Bought secondhand, scratch on LiDAR sensor, problem or not?

I bought a secondhand iPhone from a thrusted company, but it arrived with 2 scratches on the LiDAR sensor. The company says this will not impact the quality of photos in low light condition, but I am in doubt if this is true. Any people with experience that would like to share their two cents, or how to best test this? Thank you!

Silicone case color suggestions for Natural Titanium 15 Pro Max?

Hi everyone,
I’m struggling to find a silicone case color that actually looks good with the Natural Titanium iPhone 15 Pro Max. Honestly, I’m starting to regret choosing this color because it feels surprisingly difficult to match!
What colors do you think complement the Natural Titanium best? If you have a case on yours right now, I would really appreciate it if you could drop a photo below so I can see what it looks like in the real world. Thanks in advance!

Help

I bought a second-hand iPhone 15 Pro. I updated it to iOS 26.6, factory reset it when I picked it up, signed into my account, and when I got home, I updated it to iOS 27. There are no other accounts logged in, no replaced parts, and no physical flaws. Regarding the battery, IMEI, and blacklist status, everything is clear and clean. Is there anything else that could go wrong or that I should check? Everything else seems fine—cameras, sound, microphone, and buttons

Gap in phone after fix

Hi all.

I have question about gaps in iPhone 15 pro, I sent my phone to have the back replaced and I received my phone back looking like this. I am so shocked at how poor it was done. I sent the phone back and demanded a replacement. But after doing some research, apparently people on reddit are saying they’ve had gaps in their iPhone and apple have said it’s normal? Would you be angry about this fix or am I being over the top? The back doesn’t look connected properly and there is a marking underneath the camera screen underneath the right singular camera which was not there before.

I got this phone from a refurbish company who is ment to use genuine parts, but I feel like they’ve done a dodgy job. They firstly quoted me a higher replacement fee than I needed to pay, I had to say something for them to correct my service fee, the communication is terrible.

They void any warranty once the phone has water damage and I believe eventually water will get in due too how big of a gap is on the phone. I also could have paid a local store $70 to fix it with non genuine parts which I would have been happy to do, but this also voids their warranty so I had to pay hundreds of dollars for THIS

Please let me know if I’m being reasonable or is this okay??

Found this interesting about the IPhone 15pro

So my iPhone 15pro randomly died last December and I used apple care to get a new 15pro.

I noticed the manufacturer date was September 2025 so this means that 2 years after the 15pro came out and we’re on iPhone 17pro that are still manufacturing new 15pro. This may be common knowledge to others but it got me thinking.

How many years do they continue producing older generation products? Anyone know? Just seemed fascinating to think about how many “old” Apple products are probably still being produced while they are continuing to release new products.

Dust inside ultra wide angle camera

I just noticed today, after almost 3 years of ownership, that my ultra wide angle camera has dust inside. The phone has never been opened before and the lens glass seems to be intact. It’s not really a big deal since this happened after almost 3 years and it’s on the ultrawide but I’m just curious, how it got there? Also will this happen on the main or telephoto camera as well? I used it caseless a lot if that is relevant information.

System Data Bloat + Constantly Rising

I’ve had this problem only on beta versions of iOS where my system data would slowly reach up to 50GB at some points. It’s gotten so bad that I’ve had to offload and delete apps constantly just to dodge the iPhone Storage Full pop-up. Similarly, this also happened when I was on the iOS 26 beta, and as soon as I got off, the problem stopped. Now on the iOS 27 beta, the problem is slowly creeping back and is now at 38GB.

The following I’ve tried:
Reset my phone fully, started from scratch
Airplane Mode method
I even went to the Apple Genius Bar and they didn’t even know

If anyone has any suggestions of what I can do to combat this, it would be very much appreciated.
