Ive had my iPhone XR for quite some time now over half a decade it’s battery life is at 74% been thinking of getting something new what would be a proper successor that I can use for another half a decade or longer

if i press the power button there is significant delay when the phone turns off or on. in case when it’s turning off you can still use the screen, it lead to some issues like calling someone when it was in pocket. is there a way to fix this?

My XR works pretty good except that older videos (pre 2023) won't play and they cannot be shared. Same with older photos. Am I stuck with this??

Hey, I have been using the XR since 2018 and I finally feel it’s time go. It was my first iPhone and the X lineup set the trend for all the other new iPhones and I’d love that from my next phone. Should I buy a used 15 and wait for the XX and see of its worth or do you think it won’t be such a great upgrade and I should just buy the 17 now? The 17 was the first iPhone I felt like was more special than the others

Like the title says, I’m thinking about “downgrading” because my iPhone 16 Pro Max feels way too big for my hands. Sure, it’s modern and all but I really miss the chunky bezels of the iPhone XR. I want a more retro feel. It felt so comfortable to hold, especially with a silicone case. I had one back in 2021 before switching to an iPhone 13 Pro Max at the time. I know there’s modern iphones with 6,1 inch display like the 17e but 60hz on oled looks laggy compared to 60hz on lcd, and i don’t like at all the flat edges. The rounded sides of the XR were better.
What do you think? Would I be crazy to switch back?
