Unsafe, and unfruitful
I've been using this app for about 4 months. I started off doing landscaping vues at my local Walgreens and dollar tree and other box stores. I started getting local residential vues and quickly realized I was putting myself into dangerous situations. The second or third residential vue i attempted, I was taking exteriour pictures on a single family home and an elderly lady came out with her walker and asked me why I was taking pictures. I told her I was hired by a third party to get some exterior photos of the property and I could stop if she wanted and she asked to wait there while she went to get her son. He came out and, he explained to me his mother was the owner but they had no idea who sent me or why I was there. I ended up leaving and telling Ivueit what happened. I got most of the assignment done before the lady came out besides one or two photos, so Ivueit still paid me but what pissed me off was that that same address showed up as an assignment about 3 weeks later! They have NO respect for the homeowners wishes! They are sending people blindly onto people's property that have no idea they're coming or why. That can be very dangerous giving the right circumstances. And its not the only time this has happened to me on a residential Vue! In other situations I've been asked to leave before I could get the assignment done and then Ivueit doesnt pay me.
More recently I went out to an address that was about 20 miles away from my home town. It was a residential vue that was paying $35. Although this is a better paying assignment, after gas money I'm barley making anything with these current gas prices. But I chose to do it anyways.
I get all the way out there and I realize the address which is off of a back road that is more like a logging road, is pinned in the middle of a lake! I can't get to it or even figure out where it is exactly. So I sent a screenshot to Ivueit and asked them if they had any helpful info on how to reach the address because I couldnt get it to the way GoogleMaps was showing me. They messaged back telling me it was a "bad address" and to just get some pictures of the street signs.
I did as they asked and they FAILED the Vue! I've gone back and forth with them, trying to get them to explain to me how this is a failure on my part? They just keep stringing me along saying they've passed the info along to management. I'm so angry and feel so disrespected!
Like do they not understand people who are out here doing the footwork for them are the only reason they have a business? Have a little respect for us. Obviously if we're letting you nickle and dime us like this, we are already not in the best financial situations. I don't have the money or the time to be out on a wild goose chase, tracking down bad addresses and getting kicked off people's property just to waste gas and time im not getting paid for in the end.
Just save yourself the hassle. And respect your own time more than Ivueit does! I mean $7 to potentially get kicked off someomes property and put yourself in danger isnt worth it!
