Gave my 1st attempt just after boards and this is what i got
In law i was able to attempt paper of 75 marks only🥀🥀
I cleared foundation in May 2025, skipped may 2026 thinking I'll study better and clear both groups in sept 2026. Now it's july and i haven't done a single group (just purchased the classes for group 1, haven't watched them) please suggest what i should do, should I give only group 1 in September? My plan is to cover classes by first week of August and then revision... Is it possible to clear if i start right now from scratch?
I have regular batches of-
Advance accounts by Akash Kandoi sir (230 hours remaining)
Law by Shubham Singhal sir (180 hours)
Direct tax by BB sir (135 hours)
Gst by Vishal sir (around 130 hours)
I'll be really grateful for help.
For Business Economics (CA Foundation), I'm confused between these two options:
1.Buy MV Sir's notes, study and revise from them + ICAI Study Material.
2.Make my own notes from Love Sir's lectures, then revise from those + ICAI Study Material.
Could you please tell me how I should prepare for the eco foundation level . I shall be grateful for your comments
No fluff, no vague advice — just real insights from someone who’s been through it.
Edit: Happy to share I cleared CA Final!!!

This is not a one-size-fits-all guide. The goal here is to help you retrospect and discover what works for you — because nobody knows yourself better than you do.
I used to watch ranker videos for study tips and techniques, but none of them worked for me, and I lost valuable time. You can follow their advice on what to study and which faculty to choose, but how you study must be personalised.
Ask yourself these four questions honestly. They won’t directly help you clear the exam, but they will help you build a sustainable system and avoid burnout.
• When is my most productive time? Study the most during this window — minimum breaks, heavy theory. Morning, late night — whatever works for you.
• When is my least productive time? Still study during this period, but with lower intensity. You’ll have mental peace knowing you’ve put in enough hours overall.
• When do I need a break? Plan your essential activities here — meals, a nap, some downtime. Study hard enough that breaks feel earned, not guilty.
• What distracts me? Schedule it during your break time. For me, it was web series — it broke the mental fatigue and helped me reset.
Burnout is real. Studying 8–10 hours from day one is not sustainable, especially after articleship. Build a system that lasts six months or more.
Stick to proven names. Watch demo lectures and choose whoever suits your style best.
• FR: Bhavik Choksi, Akash Kandoi, Pratik Jagati
• AFM: Bhavik Choksi, Pratik Jagati
• Audit: Shubham Keswani, Shankar Lakhwani
• Income Tax: Bhanwar Bhurana, Agam Dalal
• GST: Siddharth Valimbe, Nitin Nahar
• Law & Costing: Your choice — I used Hemani Somani’s printed book and found it very helpful.
I cannot stress this enough: complete FR and AFM with revision before your articleship ends.
I had around eight months of study leave under the new scheme. If you think you can cover all subjects in that window, your study leave will be exhausting. Here’s what typically happens:
• You watch lectures at 1.8x speed to get through 140–200 hours of content.
• You retain very little.
• With three months left, you panic because an entire subject is still unwatched.
That was my reality for the May exam — I watched FR, AFM, and Audit lectures in December, January, and February. It was brutal.
Solution: Study at least one hour daily during articleship. It compounds significantly over time.
• Excel chapter tracker: Create a table for every chapter of every subject and rank the problems by importance. On the last day, you can quickly filter out the critical few from the 1,000+ sums. This was a game-changer for IBS — I could locate a specific problem instantly without flipping through everything.
• Hidden adjustment list (DT & IDT): Maintain a running list of tricky or easily missed adjustments. Review this list on exam day.
• Case scenario videos: Watch Audit, DT, and IDT case scenario videos one month before the exam — while eating, so you don’t spend extra dedicated time on them.
• RTPs and MTPs: If you can’t cover both, at minimum cover RTPs for all subjects.
• Use Claude (AI) to summarise the IBS, DT, IDT, and MCQ case scenario booklets. Carry these summaries into the exam. You won’t encounter the exact same case study, but the questions are similar — especially for Costing and Law. Without a summary sheet, searching through 86 case studies during the exam is a waste of precious time.
• Costing A to Z PDF: Print the module with all costing question wordings and page numbers. This helps you locate similar questions quickly in the exam.
• Carry your Excel tables: These help you identify and locate problems faster during the exam.
• Label your books: Write the book name on the spine from all sides — normally and upside down. It’s going to be chaotic in the exam hall, and this simple trick saves time when you’re scrambling through stacked books.
• Think of more efficiency hacks to make answer-finding as fast as possible. Every second counts.
• FR is long and it’s the first paper — prepare for it. Writing practice is non-negotiable. Even if you panic in the exam, the steps should be so ingrained that you can trust the process.
• One paper will be very tough. That’s okay. When it happens, close your eyes, take deep breaths, and rest for one minute. This stops the spiral of anxiety, regret. Having sat through the May 2026 AFM paper, I know firsthand how much this matters.
• Use the 15-minute reading time wisely. On your rough sheet, jot down answer points for every question in pencil, along with your expected marks. This gives you a snapshot of the entire paper and helps you plan your attempt order. In Audit especially, you recall the most points at the start — capture them immediately and spend the exam copying from your own sheet.
• Audit revision hack: I did not write a single audit answer during revision across Inter and Final. I relied purely on instincts and watched revision videos continuously to internalise the content. It worked for me — but find what works for you.
• Attempt at least two mock papers per subject to practise time management, refine your approach, and build contingency plans (Plan B, C, D) if Plan A falls apart in the exam.
• You can never over-prepare for IBS strategy. Watch as many strategy videos as you can. In IBS, knowing how to find the answer matters more than knowing the answer itself.
This post has gone long — and there’s more to share if you want a Part 2.
Enjoy the process, and keep motivating yourself every single day. I used to ask myself every night: "Why did I take up this course?" Whenever I felt like giving up, I’d turn to the India vs Pakistan 2022 T20 WC finish, or the India vs Australia Women’s WC, for that extra push.
Find your moment. You will always keep pushing.
I recently cleared foundation may 26 but doubtful about whether to join offline coaching or online I live in laxmi nagar I talked to senior and he advised me to not join offline as it is better faculty online but worried about self discipline and consistency in online. PLEASE TELL ME YOUR EXPERIENCE IN OFFLINE COACHING AND INSTITUTE OR IF YOU ARE PLANING TO GIVE INTER MAY2027 WE CAN GO TOGETHER FOR TRIAL CLASSES
Hello everyone.
I will be giving May-27 ca inter exams. But I accidentally ordered Jan26 books 🙃. So i wanted to know if I have to re-order the books again?? Or As I already purchased DT classes from BB sir, I should hold on thay icai material one?
Also kindly suggest me some classes I have only like 20k budget for classes 😅 and I already used 7500 for DT classes. Can you guys please recommend me the teachers from whom I can take classes for free. I am ready to invest in IDT, Law and Audit classes if they are in my limit.
I would be really thankful!!
Thanks & Regards
so i had registered for inter in march, i got my group 1 books but till now i did not recieve my group 2 books. Whenever i go there they say they are searching, after calling the customer care 6 times finally they told me tht the books are at their dispatch only. But they dont have them. Tomorrow im planning to go there and give them a piece of my mind. Is there any solution to this situation
I did my best
From studying 10 hrs for 3 months to attending regular class... Even I had sleepless nights missing outings
I had my portion covered but if was just because of this 1.5 days I wasn't able to cover up my portion
Also mock test and practice is necessary now
M thinking of giving only grp1 now
But even after doing all this
Are there any chances of passing in grp1
Because I rarely see people passing
Either they miss in aggregate or fail in one subject with few marks
Can I still clear my grp1??
What all necessary changes I can bring in myself plz suggest
Because giving 100% and not passing is kind of hurting me so muchh
Guys, I seriously need some honest advice.
I'm appearing for CA Foundation September 2026, and I literally have ONLY 40 serious days left. Not 3-4 months... just 40 days.
The worst part? 😅 I'm basically starting from ZERO. I haven't studied anything yet.
I did complete Class 12 Commerce, so I have some basic understanding of Accounts and a few commerce concepts. But I didn't have Mathematics in school, so that's another concern.
This is both my first attempt and the last attempt I want to take. I've already registered, and I genuinely want to give it everything I've got.
So, seniors and anyone who has been through Foundation...
Is it realistically possible to PASS in just 40 days if I'm ready to study full-time? 🥲
Please don't sugarcoat it. I just want honest opinions, success stories (if any), or practical advice on what I should do from today.
Any guidance would really mean a lot....
When will new modules for may 2027 be available mainly for tax
Hellow
From where I should buy the Chartbook of GST of ca vishal bhattad sir ?
For Sep 26 attempt
Recently I read in one YT comment that they got old version and customer support is worst and not answering
I am seeing many platforms selling this
I lost all my hope i prepared only for g1 and gave g2 without preparing but i never thought ill not even cross 40 in g1 this is really shocking to me without even knowing my faults
my parents wants me to give both the group now and i know this is my do or die
but i still dont know where i am going wrong
In May26 gave g2 and got 72 in cost
So I only need 40 40 in paper 5 and 6 to clear inter
What to study to make sure I get atleast 40 and pass this goddamn level
Seniors Please help...
September 26 CAI,
I was done with my syllabus 2.5 months ago then I procrastinated and created this 1st strategy plan according to which I can revise 3 times that too in detail
But I fucked it up at the very first day 😭😭😭
Then I created rough schedule out of frustration.
I'm well on track as per it, but please suggest will it work ???
I don't know I'm thinking of giving 1 mock of respective subject as and when it's done
I'm better at studying only one subject at time..
So I've decided
4 to 11 accounts
12-17 law
18-24 Dt
25-27 idt
28-1 cost
2-7 audit
8-13 fm
14-16 sm
And then from 16 I'll give 2 days each subject one for mock and one for portal's MCQ and case studies
And
I'm doing all the LDRs or practical subject and going though of question banks of theory subjects
And
Yaa I'm giving only 3 days for accounts 🥲
This is very serious. I didn't expect ICAI to be this careless about data security of their students. I came across this post on X where it claims that all CA students data is breached and published. Hacker has got into BOS portal of ICAI and extracted all students data. I didn't believe at first, but when I really go and looked up my Student Registration Number, all of my personal details were there like my Registration No, Full Name, My Personal Mobile Number, Email ID, Gender as well as full address. I verified information by myself and it is true and 100% correct l. Data leak is real this time. This raises concerns about how ICAI is managing all students data in such a careless manner. We should all immediately mail ICAI for this data breach and tell them to patch their all websites.
Same as above.
