I’m currently pursuing CMA and considering doing CA also.

My main reason for doing both would be better opportunities, higher income, and a competitive advantage from having both qualifications.

But I’m not sure whether the second qualification is actually worth the extra years and effort, or whether I’d be better off focusing on CMA + relevant work experience + skills.

I genuinely want your opinion and the reasons behind it.

Hey I am pursuing CA , need a study partner, we can motivate each other , give each other updates and study together.

I passed my CA Inter in May 2024 and have started my 2 year articleship period which will be completed on 22nd August 2026.

I initially joined a firm and left after 3 months as I was not able to adjust with the work environment. Work was good but the environment of comparison always kills me so I shifted my firm thinking for a change.

I joined another firm in Nov 2024 and in the start the environment was good and the work experience was good enough.

But then there was a twist where I could see my seniors struggling to get a sign on form 108 in an off season. The partner tortured my senior for a month to sign even though he had passed the CA final and has landed a job in another firm.

Then since Oct 2025 I could see that my partner isn't behaving normally with me. It was like a different behaviour with me and a different behaviour with the others. I was like okay let's just complete the articleship and leave the firm.

Recently my colleague asked for form 108 signature which was supposed to be signed on July 22 2026 but was signed on 14th August 2926 due to which he had to book his MCS classes in Pune. He informed the partner. The partner said if he didn't come back after the classes he would complain to ICAI that he had forged the signature and uploaded the form 108 without any consent and told him to sign the declaration stating that he should come from Sept 11 to Sept 30 just because of the audit season.

Why would any person serve an excess period?

The management is fucked, they didn't teach the new juniors audit report and expect us to file all and leave.

We have been doing overtime since June 15th. Are we slaves or what.

I reached ICAI for help they literally mentioned to close this with the partner and don't go to ICAI.

And the truth always prevails ICAI ONLY PROTECTS ITS MEMBERS.

Anyone please take serious action on the partner.

For Group I, Advanced Accounting is scheduled on 4 September 2026, followed by Corporate and Other Laws on 7 September 2026, and Taxation on 9 September 2026.

Group II begins with Cost and Management Accounting on 11 September 2026. Auditing and Ethics will be conducted on 13 September 2026, and the final paper, Financial Management and Strategic Management, is scheduled for 15 September 2026.

Aur Accounts ismein bahot samsya hai, Jo Jiska samjh aa rha vo us teacher se kar rha, Radar pe 2 teachers h, 1st Ofc Goat Akash Kandoi, 2nd Atul Agrawal.. because both are too detailed even on YT one shots.

For Taxation, Purchased batch of PW May 27, Achha padha rhe hai to vaha se... For FM and Costing don't know anything yet on YouTube pls recommend any or some channels Abt it...

Distractions part- Main Late ho chuka hun, 2 months gone nothing got completed yet, Only Accounts AS13, Law 2nd Chapter only completed, Vo bhi pure nhi practice bacha hi hai... Maybe I wasted to much on IG, Attention span bhi khatm ho chuka h, I switch app very quickly like watching yt lecture watch 10 min switch to IG --... .. Also being a Master procrastinator, I'm unable to study even 4 hours a day..

One more thing If I want give G1 only in first attempt what is the closest attempt possible? And then what will be the Second Attempt closest? For G2?

Starting CA can feel confusing because there are multiple subjects, study materials, and preparation strategies to choose from. A beginner may not know whether to start with the basics, follow ICAI material, join coaching, or create a self-study routine first.

Keeping it short right now I have 14000 to purchase classes of 2 subjects
Cost and law
I have decided to go with Pranav popat sir for cost and harsh Gupta sir for law
But since price of regular classes is 9000 of both and 5000 for eob
So now I am confused that for which subject I should go for regular and for which subject I should go for EOB
So those who have studied please guide me according to your experience especially those who have gave multiple attempts or have studies both from regular and EOB
P.S. For EOB of cost I am thinking of namit sir and for regular Pranav sir (flexible in both)

TLDR: I want to purchase 2 subjects cost and law
One EOB and one regular so which combination I should choose

I very close friend of mine gave her CA inter exams in may 26 - group 1. she had already cleared group 2 and was appearing for group 1. she had already appeared few attempts back for group 1 where her scores ranged from 40s-50s

Now in may 26 she again gave her inter exams and she was shocked seeing the results

she was shocked seeing the results and applied for RTI and guess what the rti copies were not hers.

The mcq sheet matched with answers but the descriptive papers were someone else's.

She had already lost hopes with the system and left CA to pursue MBA. This has to be a eye opener for students who belive that ICAI has fair system of evaluation.

Hello, I am (22/M) currently in CA Final and my articleship has yet to start. I couldn't complete my graduation earlier due to some reasons, but now I want a graduation degree just for the sake of it. What should I do?! So that I can complete my graduation in the least cost and time? Because the IGNOU BComF programme, which allowed CA Final students to complete graduation by giving just 6 papers in one year, has now been discontinued.

Please advice? I want to complete my graduation so that in the future, if I pursue another course abroad, there won't be any problems. Is it worth it to start a full 3-year BCom now? After clearing CA Intermediate?
