Memorial Day vigil

Join us on May 23 from 10:00-11:00 am at the Boise Capitol Steps for a reflection inward on Memorial Day weekend. For too long, Memorial Day has been made into a patriotic celebration of U.S. Militarism, but the true cost of war is devastating loss. Loss of life, loss of resources, and threat to our planet.

On Saturday May 23, VFP chooses to honor ALL who have died in needless wars, both civilians and combatants. Please join us as we mourn those lost and seek peace.

Any flowers brought to the steps will be dispersed to cemeteries in the Treasure Valley.

We need politicians that care about real issues!

It is alarming that our politicians are more concerned about what bathroom people use than the real issues going on.

Public lands under attack, genocide, Epstein Files, inflation rates, illegal war, families starving, people dying from lack of care, the list goes on.

All while our legislation passes two bills putting Idahoans in danger, including children.

One targeting a small number of Idahoans’ right to use a bathroom with exceptions that amount to an Epstein wishlist. (HB752)

The other focused on children wearing the clothing that matches their reproductive organs. (HB822)

It is time for our elected officials to act for the good of everyone, not the harm of a few.

We need politicians who focus on the real issues. Vote May 19th so we can get these creeps out of office!
