Some facts about Tessica Brown, the woman who went viral for spraying Gorilla Glue in her hair
40-year-old Louisiana native Tessica Brown became internet famous in 2021 for accidentally covering her hair with Gorilla Glue after allegedly mistaking it for hair spray. As a result of her filming the ordeal and posting it on social media, she:
- Became an internet celebrity with over 1.5 million social media posts about her
- Had $25,000 raised for her through crowd funding
- Had a California agent and media executive cold call her and offer to represent her for media appearances and also got her into a Beverly Hills plastic surgery clinic, where she received a four-hour procedure to remove the glue completely free of charge
- Launched her own brand of hair care products with the slogan "Bonded for Life"
- Released a rap song and music video titled "Ma Hair"
- Appeared on the 25th season of the Food Network show Worst Cooks in America
- Inspired several copycats who also sprayed glue in their hair for social media attention
Within 11 months of the glue incident, she lost almost all of her hair again after she fucked up while trying to dye it, describing how her hair "fell out in clumps."
She also has six children with at least three different men, if you wanted to know about the genetic component.
