Hi, I'm Alfredo, a master's student in Digital Humanities at the University of Pisa. For my thesis, I've put together a short survey to gather information on how we use (or avoid) artificial intelligence tools to manage our smart homes, and how much we trust their answers. The survey is for anyone with a smart home, including people who have never used AI: understanding why some prefer to do without it is just as useful.

Responses are anonymous and it takes about 10 minutes to complete. Once data collection is over, I'll share the results here, with the trends that emerged on how we use these tools to manage our homes.

IFTTT receives no signals from MyQ service today 10/2/2026 since 2FA rolled out to my account. It worked yesterday 10/1/2026. --> Is it still supported? Any information?

I've been using MyQ with IFTTT for years. They just rolled out 2FA/MFA to my account today. I can still authenticate (without 2FA) through the IFTTT app to the MyQ service, no failures nor 2FA!

I'm waiting on MyQ Support phone line, and they barely understand what I'm talking about. They did mention possibly other services like alarm.com being impacted? Will update if I hear more.
