Im in my 3rd yr of cse dual degree and really concerned about placements in iiitdm kancheepuram, i will be sitting for placements in 2028 ig.

Pls share your experience in placement interviews and companies u attended or u know which all came here.

Would love to hear all those stuffs, let it be positive or negative pls share it so that it will be helpful for your juniors too.

Also how much gpa criteria are they setting as threshold for which type of companies??

So just got the mail for next academic calander, for me classes commence at august 5th but course registration is said to be from july 13th onwards

So semester enrollment will also be around that time right, last year for doing that i have to give those fee receipt, registration forms etc. to the office in person.

So my question is will it be same this year or is it possible just online registration is enough, cuz i don't wanna go to college at 13th and stay there till august 5th

Which college has better college life and placements?

I have options in iiitdmk to take cse or I can take instrumentation in NIT Trichy what I'm confuse between is to follow my interest which is cse or take instrumentation for the purpose of nit Trichy. My main concern is the placements, if anyone can help me by telling me how the placements are in iiitdmk it would help me and tell me about the college life and faculty. Please some help

With my jee rank I'm almost getting iiit kancheepuram mech..... And also as an option I have ssn(*snuc), (only mech)...

I have recently got selected for snu's provisional admission and they are asking to pay the full fees before 20th may, which means if I don't pay I won't get a seat there and if I pay i can't have any other options (bcz 4-5 lakhs altogether)...

So should I skip ssn(*snuc) and wait for iiit kancheepuram (josaa) or should I simply join ssn(*snuc)

i got cse in vit chennai cat-1, and will get iiit cse kancheepuram wat should i choose for good environment ,good placements

it seems to be the branch with highest package, ppl everywhere has mixed reviews about here. i have all courses in iiit sricity as backup but hesitant as really high fees.

i am hesitant towards cse in general due to the growth of ai but i think ece is a safe pick. how is the faculty and placements?

is there club or sorts which promotes ece like hacklathon, or is it purely our own dedication?

Is it possible to be a day scholar in this college because I heard it's not possible, I'm planning on joining but I don't want hostel and I will be staying and coming from my parents house in chennai. Can anyone confirm if it's possible?

How will the hostel allotment be for next semester?

• Will rooms be changed

• What hostel do 2nd years generally get

• Can we select our roommates (I think this choice is there in many colleges officially)

• How will roommates be assigned (Like strictly roll no. or Dept. or Branch wise )

• Is there any probability of 3 sharing rooms (I guess net strength will increase by 200 as final years have almost 400 people but intake will be 600 this year)
