HELLO EVERYONE , I AM LOOKING FOR (ECE) BRANCH IN IIIT THROUGH JOSSA. I HAVE VISITED WEBSITES OF A LOT OF IIITS AND CHECKED THEIR PLACEMENTS DATA AND FREQUENTLY NOTICED THAT THERE ARE A LOT OF STUDENTS NOT APPLYING FOR PLACEMENTS . SO MY DOUBT IS ,

1. ARE THEY NOT ALLOWED TO REGISTER FOR THE COUNSELLING ? IF SO THEN WHY ?

2)OR IF THEY ARE ALLOWED TO REGISTER FOR THE COUNSELLING THEN WHY THEY ARE NOT APPLING FOR IT ?

3. I AM IN DOUBT THAT IF JOIN A IIIT WOULD I EVEN END UP REGISTERING FOR A COUNSELLING AND GET A GOOD PLACEMENT

I know these two along with gwalior are in heavy discussion,jabalpur seems better then gwalior but what about lucknow?

My priority - good blend of OP placements plus college life(I can compromise a bit on college life but not on placements as I have to earn big as I got railed in jee adv so there would atleast be some respect for me in my home 😭😭😭).

Many children are spreading false rumours about IIITDM Jabalpur regarding placements and about this collage that it's not good, very bad placements etc. These rumours occur every year for lowering the cutoff.

See placements are good here:

In cse/ece 75 percent-80 percent batch is placed here

In mechanical this year very good placements are there (close to 100 percent). Many people have been placed in Japan.

Agar kisi ko jannana hai iss college ke bare me ya fir dusre kisi college ke bare me to linkedin download Karo and college ke seniors se contact Karo don't decide your collage only based on reddit.

I sincerely request seniors of TPC to provide dedicated guidance for our entering juniors...

Is it real that IIITDM Jabalpur has strong connected with Japanese universities and every year they take students there for an exchange program.

(Gen Male here) I am getting IIIT jabalpur CSE.......Now, I can arrange the Jossa fees, even the 1st sem fees. However, I would need edu loan for the entire degree...My parents CIBIL is very low(550ish) and family income is <1lpa

So will loan be a big issue? I dont mind higher interests etc but the goddman loan itself, will i be able to get it? Is there anything such as alumini fund/scholarships?What would happen if banks reject the loan, will i have to drop out??
