Hi

My rank is around 13,500 in jee advanced .

And I have been considering iit bhubaneswar civil and metallurgical and materials engineering , and few chances of mechanical also.

I saw IIT bhub placements were much better than iit mandi but iit mandi cutoff are too low ( at lesser rank ). Is there any reason people are not taking IIT bhubaneswar .

And please tell about how is the college life .

And please guide me , what best options i have at this rank

IIT Bhubaneswar me Metallurgy join Krna worth it rahega or I should go for Mechanical in NIT Jamshedpur or Kurukshetra and I can also get civil in IIT Bbs (Less chances) what should I choose.....

I got around 15k rank in adv , so I can get this , how are the placements and is it worth joining. My mains rank is 40k so it is either this or cbit cse

Someone from robotics club please say if the robotics club is very active and if there are ongoing projects?

heloo seniors can i get metallurgy at 16.8k ? last year t was 16.2 k, were there any seats left? or i should not keep any hopes?

I am getting IIT Bhubaneswar Civil Engineering.If i focus on coding can I get good job in Tech or should I consider NIT at 15k rank General Male

I will probably get material sciene in iitbbs this year, i mainly wanna sit in tech placements, do they allow material students to sit for tech?

Also should i consider some other branch in other iits(not getting much)

My mains rank is pretty bad so not getting much there too.

So with my rank, I might land up in EP branch. I'm very clear that I'm not interested in higher studies, I'm interested in placements. So are the placements good for this branch? People which sit for placements in this branch, do they go IT side or core side? Like I'm interested to go to non technical side for a hardware job, so is it possible to do that? Also I've heard that this branch is basically a mix of Physics + Electrical Engineering, is it true?
