I think it might be. I keep coming back to this thought week after week month after month.
Everything about this song is excellent, from the conversation like singing to the deep notes he rips out with all passion during the chorus.
Mix that in with the melodic beat, the despair and regret in his voice in the verses with the upbeat positive chorus that forces you to smile even if you were just crying.
Wrecked was released 5 years ago, on July 2, 2021, and Wake Up 2 years ago, on July 2, 2024.
They're completely different but both are amazing songs. I also think that both singles well represent the album they're from.
What's your opinion on these songs?

For me, the first time I heard "Younger" I wasn't concerntrating on the words. All of a sudden I hear "I put a FORESKIN" and was like... There's no way 😂 I immediately rewinded and heart the real lyrics "put a FORCEFEILD around every single one of us".
Beautiful song, really resonates with me, but every time I hear it, I do think of the foreskin incident 😭😂

Here's the entire Gachiakuta x Smoke + Mirrors redraws I've done. Im currently working on my own art for the deluxe songs and I've done a couple Night Visions ones as well.
Hope you all enjoy these! Overall, this project took me 1 1/2 months.
The characters in this art are Rudo (The white haired one) and Zanka (the blue earrings guy)
I personally love both, but as i've recently been listening to S+M again, i figured that they felt way more "classical" than Mercury's if you know what I mean. The Solos on Mercury feel like an good evolution to the old ones, so I can't really decide which are better now
I just had an MRI. Technician gave me some ear plugs and put a headphone on my head with some music. I started wishing it was ID… and it was!! First song was Monster, then Bad Liar, Blank Space / Stand By Me, NTMY and Heart Upon My Sleeve. Great picks too! She told me it was her Spotify playlist. This just made my day!
Have you ever experienced this? When’s the most unexpected time you heard an ID song when you were feeling stressed, down, depressed, unwell… and it was just such a perfect support?

I have an incredible update for the community today! The broadcast footage from Imagine Dragons' performance at the Summer Sonic Festival in Tokyo (August 16, 2015) has been found in great quality.
Both the full broadcast (all 3 songs together) and the individual tracks are now available in both video and audio formats inside the corresponding "2015" folder of my Imagine Dragons archive.
While it is not the full concert from the festival, we now have these songs:

As a reminder, I am building a massive, definitive archive project dedicated to preserving the history of Imagine Dragons. My ultimate goal is to collect all live performances, rare covers, acoustic sets, interviews, speeches, documentaries, photos and other media in one place, while gradually upscaling everything to 4K (2160p).
I am constantly on the hunt for rare and deleted videos. Any help from the community is incredibly useful. Even if you just find a simple link on a Chinese video hosting site (like Bilibili, Youku, etc.) or any other platform with a video that is missing from YouTube and my archive—please share it with me! Every rare video matters for preserving the band's legacy.
Before anyone says anything, i know there are better songs from ID, but this was my first one and my most favourite.
