Which IEM should I buy as my first one? (₹2.5k budget)

I'm completely new to IEMs. I've just been using regular boAt earphones till now, so I don't really know much about sound signatures, imaging, soundstage, EQ, or any of the audiophile terms.

I just want something that's a solid upgrade and enjoyable for everyday use.

Budget: ₹2.5k max

Need help building a genuine Hindi FLAC library for my SnowSky Echo Mini (No fake upscales please)

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a SnowSky Echo Mini along with the Moondrop Chu II, and I’m planning to gift the DAP to someone who’s very special to me. Before I do, I want to fill the 128 GB microSD card with a properly curated collection of genuine lossless Indian music.

I’ve spent hours searching, but I’ve run into the same problem repeatedly. Many people claim to have FLAC collections, but after reading more about it, I’ve learned that a lot of them are simply MP3 files converted to FLAC. On top of that, some people in audiophile groups are asking for money to share their libraries, and I have no way of knowing whether they’re legitimate or just selling fake upscaled files.

I’m not looking for pirated links or anyone to upload copyrighted music here. I’m trying to understand the right and reliable way to build a genuine lossless library.

A few questions:
.How do you personally build your Hindi/Indian FLAC collection?
.Are there any official sources that still offer downloadable Indian FLAC albums?
.Do you buy CDs and rip them yourself? If so, where do you usually find them?
.How do you verify that a FLAC file is a genuine CD rip and not an MP3 converted to FLAC?
.What software do you use to check spectral analysis or verify authenticity?
.Are there any trusted Indian audiophile communities or resources where beginners can learn the correct workflow instead of relying on random sellers?

I’m willing to put in the effort and do things properly.

I just don’t want to waste money or end up with fake “lossless” files.
Any advice from experienced collectors would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Where to audition Edifier studio monitors in Bangalore

I’m looking to buy a pair of stereo studio monitors for my TV since i want to avoid the hassle of the sub woofer that comes with a sound bar and i have settled in either Edifier or Audio Array ax brands but could be pursued ex to go higher as long as i can run the speakers without an amp and preferably directly through my TV optical Coax output or HDMI ARC. The electronics stores only keep soundbars these days and i want to audition the speakers. Does anyone have any clue about s good store to visit in Ventral Bangalore?

Does anyone need a headphone amp for their pcs or even phones?

I wanted a headphone amp for a project, so I ordered 5 custom made PCBs for it because you can order PCBs only in increments of 5. So far I have sold 3, keeping one and one more to sell. If more people want it I can order more for you guys.

Why use it?

Basically most of the motherboards in people's PCs don't give a strong output to your headphones. When you increase the volume, it does not pull the gain for all the bands properly, because some frequencies especially the sub bass and bass need more juice to be heard properly. So my headphone amp fixes it by giving your headphones/earphones the juice it needs. It can run from a wide band of input voltage from 5-18volts, preferably 9v because that's more than enough, best if you use a pc because you can connect it to power the whole day and just leave it pn play whatever you like whenever you want.

My electornics experience:

I'm still a noob at analog electronics, but I still have a taste for it since I started using arduinos, esps and now teensies as a serious hobby since 7th grade, so I am not selling you guys garbage.

Selling it for ₹1000, if you want an adapter for it another ₹200. If your interested dm me.

Found these Onkyo D-N7TX bookshelf speakers for ₹5,200. Is this a good deal? (India)

Hey everyone,

I came across this listing on Facebook Marketplace for a pair of Onkyo D-N7TX 2-way bookshelf speakers priced at ₹5,200 (roughly $62 USD), and they happen to be just 5 km away from me.

As seen in the attached image 16397.png, they are a compact, front-ported bass-reflex design featuring Onkyo's signature white A-OMF monocoque cones and a ring drive tweeter. Visually, the cabinets and drivers look to be in pretty solid condition, though there might be a tiny spot/stain on the right woofer cone near the bottom right edge.

Before I message the seller to audition them, I wanted to get some opinions:

Is ₹5,200 a fair price for these in the current Indian used market?

How is the sound signature? I know these originally came bundled with Onkyo's high-end micro-component systems (like the FR series). Do they have decent imaging and mid-bass for their size, or do they lean too bright?

For Amplifier part I have a diy build with a Chinese board named xy-t3002p stereo board with 36v 10a smps

Plan is to use them in a desktop/small room setup. Would love to hear from anyone who has owned or heard these specific Japanese-market micro speakers.

Thanks in advance!
