MOD ANNOUNCEMENT PLEASE READ
I have decided to retire this subreddit, as it is clear to me it is redundant. When I started Indie Plushies a few years ago, it was because I couldn't find a subreddit that gave these special creatures the platform they deserve, and to me it was an obvious need. At the time r/plushartists either didn't exist, or I simply didn't find it, but today it is a popular and busy sub doing more than enough to showcase these unique creations. Since almost everything that gets posted on Indie Plushies is also posted there, I see no value in continuing the sub.
Founding and caring for this sub and its magnificent denizens has been one of my life's great honours and I thank you all for being here. Keep creating!

Crested Gecko
Wow didn't expect ppl to love my leo gecko so much 😊 he has a little bud made from Shannon cuddle plush hand sewn but machine embroidery features..with the cutest little toes 🥰. Ive never had a crested gecko but, i would love one 🥲 after my 2 scaleys passed the only reason I couldn't have another was with the living crisis the cost of electricity and food is through the roof to look after one which i get but, maybe one day pattern-cholyknight

Giant night fury
Another blast from the past ..this guy was one of the largest plush/dragons ive done, he was a commission and he had posable wings, and tail. Made from fleece and HAND embroidered eyes seriously not kidding it took me 6 WEEKS PER eye thats when I decided I would whatever to save up for a embroidery machine !!! Ive done a few big ones but, i tweaked the pattern at this point and this guy was definitely the best 👌

Weighted cat stuffed animal
I want to fill a cat sized stuffed animal with some kind of stuffing that makes it weigh as much as my cat that passed away, she weighed around 7.7 kg. Does anyone have any suggestions on filling that is not super expensive and also comfortable to put in a stuffed animal?

Dart the night/light fury
Another old one made from fleece and yet hand embroidery eyes 🥲 in playing puppy pose ..had the idea for a while and when I made him thankfully he found a home quickly..wouldn't mind making another now im using plush fabric and my beloved embroidery machine 😁
