I'm making a game inspired by Infinity Blade, and it releases next month!

Hello!
For the past year, I've been working on a game heavily inspired by Infinity Blade.

It's called Slash-Out: Fantasy Dueling, and it releases September 17th.

It's a twin stick swordfighter, where you control your shield with one thumbstick, and your sword with the other. Each fight is a boss fight, covering your journey as a knight questing to stop the ancient and powerful Countess.

It's got a playable demo out now!

New to the series

Livestream interest?

Hi all, I’m Alex. I’ve occasionally lurked on this channel for a while (on my personal account) and have, like many of you, always felt like IB didn’t get the longevity it deserved (Fortnite doesn’t count ofc).

So, to help popularize one of my favorite childhood game series, and to learn a new skill, I’m working on some youtube videos about the Infinity blade series aimed at discussing the great design strategies used in them that make them so impressive and fun.

I am currently working my way through replaying them for the first time in years and re-discovering why I love them so much. I’ve just finished recording game 1 and was curious if there would be any interest in me streaming my play-through of 2 and 3 over the next couple days and weeks?

If you are interested and have any thoughts, questions, or if you know any specific videos/blogs or whatnot that the devs have released that you want to make sure get taken into account please let me know.

I’m still new to streaming so while I should be up on Twitch, Youtube, and Kick in time, Twitch will be the safest place to check if you’re interested. Theres an hour or so of footage from me playing IB2 on an old save but I’ll be restarting tomorrow most likely. That was also pretty much my first stream so still ironing out some issues.

No pressure to do anything of course, but I wanted to gauge interest before committing to something big.

The best way to support if you’d like to is following and showing up if/when I stream. (ThereforeFinch on Twitch/Kick/YT, same profile pic as my Reddit and no vids/few to no followers yet since I’m just now starting.)

Thank you all for keeping this community alive, much love, and congratulations to the devs who made the PC (and now android!!!) ports, you all are so amazing.

P.S. don’t expect any released youtube videos for a while. They take lots and lots of time and work to get right :)

I'm so glad I can finally play Infinity Blade 1 on an Android device! Also, Radriar kicking my ass again just like the good old days 😂

Huge props to the guy continiously working on porting these games to PC and now Android! Here's me wishing IB2 gets ported to Android too as well as IB3 to both PC and Android 🤞

Finally tried this game and... IT'S SO PEAK!

I saw this game on a video about old mobile games and I really liked it and wanted to try it, but sadly this game is an IOS exclusive and I'm using an Android. However, today I heard that this game is ported to android yesterday and I immediately downloaded it. OMG its combat is so fun for a 2010 iPhone game! Parrying enemy attacks is so fun😮‍💨 Hope we could get IB2 and IB3 on android as well! Thanks to everyone who ported this game to mobile 🫂

Infinity blade ANDROID

Not clickbait, infinity blade one has been ported to android by Infinitybladeguy and he has uploaded it to internet archive and sent the link in the IB discord, tried the game myself and it works great except for a few bugs (Black screen bug is affecting a lot of devices but it's being worked on rn so should be fixed soon)
