I found this cocoon beside a rice farm. There was a worm inside it.
The grass is Matamat (Rhynchospora corymbosa).
That grass is too common in Vietnam rice fields.
Here is the map where i found it: https://maps.app.goo.gl/9N2kCxHz7bqAQozu9
Thank for help.
I found this guy on my leg, and I'm thinking I got it from walking through a patch of medium length grass on the way to dollarama. A Google lens search tells me it's likely an American Dog tick or a Gulf Coast tick. I'm located on Hamilton, Ontario Canada if it helps.
This was in my bathroom on the second floor. Located in Western PA.
Is this a type of spider? Never seen anything like it before.
They have flat wings about the same length as the body. I’ve never seen these before and they’ve been landing on me constantly for the last 20 minutes
This guy was on my storm door trying to get into the house. What is he? My dog wanted to sniff so bad.
I went to clean the drain of my kitchen sink tonight. I put a glove on and reached to remove the sink strainer and something FLUNG towards my bare wrist. I don’t think it flies, but it does jump. I wish it at least went for my gloved hand, homie went straight for skin (altho I don’t think it touched me).
Took about 5 years off my life. It went down the drain and into the garbage disposal (sorry buddy).
Any idea what it is? New England state, USA
Found in my house dead in SC. Hoping its not a german, ive never seen one before and rarely even see palmetto bugs.
They’ve been living in a cinderblock wall on my neighbor’s property and are starting to show up in my house. Long Island, NY
I think it’s a lady bug but a friend said a tick. I found it on my sun hat. I was not hiking, just wore it when walking to my metro strop. I’m in Alexandria, VA.
Just got home from a long day of work to a few of these in my apartment bathroom. I live in Southern South Carolina.
Edit: Forgot image! (Noob)
This is the best photo I could get, but worried there may be more and if they are harmless or not. I saw what a pseudo scorpion looks like and it’s not this, as the pseudoscorpion had more of a tick like body and longer arms.
Has small pincers like a scorpion, but moved and had legs like a spider. This one was on my sheets. Please help 😩
