iOS 26.5 on my iPhone 16 Pro Max is truly amazing!

Despite the rumours and my initial updating hesitation, I’ve finally updated my phone and it’s running smoothly and incredibly fast. You can definitely tell the difference. I always trust Apple’s team.

About Reduce transparency

Anyone else having bugs with Reduce Transparency on iPhone 16 Pro Max?

I like using it, but when it’s enabled my phone gets weird glitches. Control Center sometimes bugs, especially the cellular toggle, Spotlight search makes the keyboard glitch/lag, and some apps flicker or stutter visually ( apps that support liquid glass )

When I turn Reduce Transparency off, everything goes back to normal instantly and feels smoother.

Am I the only one seeing this or is it a common iOS bug right now?

iOS 26.0 Dev Beta 1

Hi all, I booted up my old iPhone SE2 just now and remembered I updated it to the developer beta the day it released to try out iOS 26. It is still running this version and the experience is awful.

Is it worth keeping it on this beta (since I don’t use it anyway) or just update to the current stable release of iOS 26? My thought is that it could be cool to leave it on the first ever beta of iOS 26 that was released.
