Ever since ios 26 come out, ive been turning on and off abt what this will do to my iphone. Cuz i dont want this to affect my performance and my battery life in a negative way. So im wondering for those whos on ios 26.5 rn, hows the experience with it so far?

I recently bought my iPhone, but I'm experiencing something strange. I simply find Apple's apps awful, and iCloud too. Because of this, I'm using everything from Google, like Google Photos, Maps, Translator, and also Google's cloud storage to store my files.

Does this happen to you guys too??

hi! so i have always had issues with streaming on whatnot because of my phone overheating so fast (I have an iPhone 15). the longest I streamed without my phone shutting off due to overheating was 3 hours, but i could barely touch it it was so hot. I had my battery replaced and it’s been even worse (I did a stream yesterday at 35 mins and I was afraid it would shut off with how hot it was). it’s really interfering with my shows. apple won’t do anything and just is sending me back to geek squad so they can look over it but honestly I don’t trust them at this point with what they told me at my appt.

it was so bad this morning, that when I woke up (9 hours of no use) after only 5 mins of use, the back got so hot it burnt my hand and the screen dimmed. I had only checked my notifications, no gaming or such.

im wondering what phones yall use for streams (especially longer ones) because I think I’m going to need a new phone. I’ve tried everything, closing background apps, removing the case, dimming the screen, not using while it charges, I’ve even restarted it before streaming and had the AC blowing directly on it while streaming nothing helps at all. I’m really upset considering I just spent over $100 on a battery replacement and it didn’t help at all. so at this point I don’t think I want to bother using this phone anymore for streams.

How much bigger is it compared to the iPhone 6s? I can't find any comparrisons online. My hands are a bit small, and I've considered the 15 plus, but I'm not sure which to choose. What I'm looking for is a phone that has a good charge where it doesn't go from 100 to 5 in an hour like my current one, great memory, (128 GB is decent) and a good camera. I don't care about video games, but I would like to watch movies and such when lying in bed.

its a great phone so far doesnt lag but it really pisses me off because of heating issues, i have done everything to avoid it. turned off location, background app refresh dont let it charge 80 and all and it still heats up from basic instagram and a few apps. i dont even play games. does anyone have any tips or is this just a shitty phone

i’m torn between the iphone 13 256gb and the iphone 15 128gb. i will only use it as my spare phone because i already have an android phone with 256gb and a tablet. i also don’t play games on it since i use my android for gaming. i will mostly use it for taking pictures and social media. so, should i buy the iphone 15 128gb? this will be my first iphone, so i don’t know how much storage the system will take.

I’m currently using an iPhone 15 on iOS 18.7.2 and I’ve been thinking about updating to iOS 26.5, but I’m a bit hesitant because of potential performance issues

For people who already updated, how has your experience been so far on the iPhone 15 specifically? I’m mostly concerned about things like

- Battery life
- Heat/overheating
- General smoothness/performance
- Bugs or app issues
- Whether it feels slower than iOS 18.7.2

Would you recommend updating now, or waiting for another patch?

The iphone 15 is 256gb while the iphone 16 is only 128gb, help please

I'm considering an upgrade from 12promax to either 15plus or 16. What are your opinions?
