Wanted to see how is each team faring in batting at each of the batting positions from #1 to #11 and who is the strongest/weakest player at each position.
Few insights -
Marsh & P Arya have dominated No.1 position while Rahane has been the weakest
No. 2 is dominated totally by RR because of the 15 year old prodigy who leads in all 3 departments (runs, SR, boundaries). Gaikwad from CSK has performed the worst as expected at this position.
Ishan Kishan and Klassen have been superb for SRH at #3 and #4 while Suryakumar and N Pooran have been disastrous. Patidar has been great for RCB.
MI has experimented a lot with No. 5 and No. 6 but have been able to score good runs and boundaries between the likes of Pandya, Tilak, Rutherford and Will Jacks at those positions while Brevis, Tewatia have been poor
Mukul Chowdhury has emerged as kinda the best No. 7 batsman while Ramandeep (KKR) and Shahrukh Khan (GT) failed the most to create impact
Strike Rates of #6, #7 which are kind of finisher positions have been pretty underwhelming for most teams except for PBKS who has done well.
Jamie Overton has done great at No. 8 for CSK.
Bhuvi with most runs and boundaries at #9 (including the most important boundary maybe of this season, that six to Bawa).
Please share any other insights in the comments. Hope this was helpful ✌️ Who would be your IPL Playing XI or Top 7 basis this?
Mine would be
Abhishek Sharma
Vaibhav Suryavanshi
Ishan Kishan (wk)
R Patidar (could have kept Klassen but 4 overseas covered below)
Tilak Verma
Tim David (ov)
Shashank Singh/Mukul (prefer Shashank as he can bowl)
Krunal Pandya
J Overton (ov)
Bhuvi
Hazlewood (ov)
S Narine (ov)
CSK: One thing people don't understand, CSK has too many injured players main players) and an out of form captain, and today's their last chance but its against a fully in-form team, so unless the pitch supports them, its over.
DC: What can I say, this team has been the most weird and miraculous, can't really predict anything for them.
RR: They're good as long as their top order doesn't collapse (mainly openers, it would be either 150/0 or 15/2), their bowling has also been weird, choosing Ferrari over Jadeja for spin attack
KKR: Giving a decent comeback, with few players injured, it would be slightly difficult for them, and few players already getting into form, they might have a chance.
PBKS: Started with explosive form, got arrogant and started shitposting on their main social handles and they got cursed, ''Ek point ditta'' now both kkr and pbks are equal in points, so either they get lucky and qualify or we get to see 2016 Kings XII Punjab.

Upcoming Sunday is going to be absolute cinema considering the situation of 4th spot for playoffs...Question for the fans who don’t support KKR, RR or PBKS… who are you backing for that final playoff spot?
Most cricketers become predictable once teams analyze them enough. But Narine still feels unreadable both in personality and in bowling.
He rarely speaks, avoids unnecessary attention, keeps the same calm expression, and somehow continues to trouble batters despite everyone knowing what’s coming.
That's been a great record by Manish Pandey, considering the stature of jasprit bumrah .
Not only he didn't get out but rather he has also a Good strike rate against him .
Plus , KKR remains unbeaten by MI in Eden gardens since May 2018. Seeing the lopsided rivalry of KKR and MI , this is also a great achievement.
Slowest ball he ever bowled in his career
Btw this clip is from the movie promotion of Peddi an upcoming Telugu Movie starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor. Typing this much to complete 200 characters.

Bolo Narine Narine 🙏
No matter what the outcome is, I will take this come back from KKR. I remember watching the first match and almost abandoning the whole season. Every match was pain and I lost interest in the other teams too. Thanks to PBKS social-media for injecting some toxicity, made me interested in the matches again. KKR's season start was extremely poor and we are likely not qualifying, but hopefully they come back stronger next year!
One of the best off spinners to play the game has chosen a left hand batter as his biggest challenge who happens to be one of the greatest spinners this sport has seen. Sunil Narine is the undisputed IPL goat.
