Has anyone noticed an increase in People breaking Red lights?

Maybe it's just me, but I've noticed it a lot more over the past while. We've all turned when it's been Amber. I don't know anyone that won't do that during busy periods, but now you'll see another 2 or 3 cars go after that, when the light has been red a good second or two.

Another thing I've noticed is people running the red at pedestrian crossings, when there appears to be no pedestrians around. Saw some prick in a 261 Tesla do that yesterday, here in Maynooth, but honestly that's at least the third time I've seen it in the past few weeks.

Anyone else noticed this?

Should I report this?

This morning I was walking with my two kids on crèche dropoff. Our road is small, with drop kerbs and cars parked on footpaths all over the place. A bin truck was navigating it's way down the street, and a taxi driver refused to move. He was right outside a double driveway, so could easily have moved in a foot or two, but just sat there refusing to move. The binmen were pleasing with him, but he wasn't having it. They started to reverse to make their way around him. As I was passing I leaned down and indicated to him "would you not move?" He rolled down the window and asked what the fuck I wanted. I asked again "would you not just move in a foot or two and let them pass"? My tone was friendly, as I was holding my 20month old in one arm, and holding hands with my 4 year old. He screamed at me to fuck off and mind my own fucking business. I was shocked, and couldn't come back with anything obviously, as I had the kids. I went to take out my phone to catch his reg and he sped off. I mean he absolutely floored it. In a residential street (30km) at a busy time... Is this worth reporting to anyone? (Gards, taxi federation)? My son was so shook, asking what the man said and why he was shouting. Or do I just get on with my day.

Lads.. This is INFURIATING..

What's up Recently with lads merging onto a motorway slow as fuck and expecting you to yield ...

More and more noticing this.

When merging, bring vehicle up to speed of motorway traffic and then make the merge..

An indicator does not give you right of way !

Anyone else?

How do you drive on the M50?

Yes we all know the rules but does every single irishshitedriver use the left lane and the two right lanes to overtake? I am going to get an almighty amount of downvotes when I admit to staying in the right lane at times and doing 110+. If you can't beat them join them. You can't pay me to undertake on the left lane like some on here claim gets them there quicker. Only lane I never drive in is the middle lane

Safety on road!

A few seconds of distraction, one rushed decision, or ignoring a basic rule can change everything.

✅ Wear your seatbelt

✅ Use your helmet

✅ Don’t text and drive

✅ Respect speed limits

✅ Be patient, arriving late is better than not arriving at all

Entitled 261 BMW driver - angry that traffic laws apply to them too

This lad tries to boss his way across the junction, isn't happy when I don't obey his rules.

Road sweeper merging onto the M50 at around 25-30km and hour

Not sure if these vehicles are allowed on the M50 but this moron yesterday in a road sweeper was merging onto exit 6 Blanchardstown exit at about 25-30km an hour while everyone was going at least 50-60km +... many cars had to break suddenly behind him.

Tralee roundabout, doing my nut in! Most drivers take red line, i take yellow then get cut off trying to move left after passing previous exit

What was everybody’s cop on moment?

Everybody’s been a shite driver at some point, if you’d like to admit it or not. Mines definitely being caught doing 140kmh on the m1. Horrible 3 points and big dirty fine… I’d like to say I’ve copped on quite quick since then and it’s made me a more better driver. Would like to hear others.
