So Jonathan Hicks or dk_john on instagram released these photos of the iron lung sub manual! I thought it would be a really awesome thing to recreate. I was thinking it would be really cool to turn this in to some kind of notebook or something! Unfortunately the corner text is blocked off because of the bent pages. I wanted to see if anyone would have any ideas what would be in the last two boxes for the table of contents for the manual.

So I’m working on a animation meme for iron lung cuz I love it so much and I’ve got a lot of ideas, it’s very rough rn but I want it to cover most of the film in chronological order. At least as best as I can, so far I got him getting sealed in (that parts not shown in the film but I think it would be a cool shot) then him begging to be let out (after he comes up from his first trip down) yes I know it’s weird for timeline shit but idk what else to do with the audio and what I wanna do at certain parts. The rest follows the films timeline XD I still got 30 more seconds to rough out before I can work on making it actually look nice XD any thoughts, opinions or advice on timeline stuff would be really helpful!!

I just got a new car (Tesla model 3) and his name is SIMON!! I felt like it was only right as it’s blood red and mark has been my favorite creator since I was a child!! I was going back and forth from his character or the ship name itself but I felt like Simon fit best! Ik you won’t see this mark but Thank you for being you and giving me someone to look up to! Someone who never gives up and always finds a way to keep working! For the love of creation and your own craft and love of your fans.

Made an Iron Lung snow globe for my niece's birthday. Super happy with how it turned out <3

Took wayyy too long on this. But if anyone is looking for ideas on how to pull it off, here’s my process:

- first i yoinked off the regal logo with a pocket knife and sanded the entire thing to get rid of print lines (this took ages, i inhaled so much mirco plastics and i gave up on the body of the eel, but the blood is pretty much prefect)

- i then used Das Stone Clay to fill in the gap where the logo was and to further smooth out the blood

-let that dry between layers of clay and after a full 24hrs i did a black spray primer

-after that, its all cheapo apple barrel acrylic paint. A color tip for ya: use some blue in your blood colors, for darker shadows use even more blue. And the teeth are a creamy yellow with a lavender shading on the inner side of each of them.

- lastly is a high gloss glaze sealant

All this stuff you can get at walmart, any off brand will work, although i did splurge on the clay but its not necessary.

Points of Interest.

The main objective of Iron Lung is to photograph 10 points of interest located throughout the map.

They also serve as a way to introduce the monster of the game. You'll take a photo and the monster will be visible. Then you'll take another photo and the monster is gone.

In the remake, the original monster is replaced by the Blood Eel from the movie. This is the first glimpse of her.

The Light received some changes. In the original game, it was a simple object that animated. To make it fit more into the "cosmic horror" of the movie, I wanted give it a sort of temple look as if it was a place of worship by the inhabitants of the moon before it was covered in an ocean of blood.

To further the cosmic horror vibes, there's a consistent motif of spiral columns. These columns actually have an organic center to them with connective tissue. The idea was to suggest that the blood ocean is slowly morphing the environment into an organic mass.

A lot of care was taken to recreate them as well as the grainy camera filter to look both modern and faithful to the analogue aesthetic.

The grainy look was achieved by using a post process material that replicated CRT and VHS effects combined with a custom grain layer.

These images are generated in real time during gameplay. It is done so by having a Scene Capture Camera navigate the map as the submarine. Each photograph is 2k in size and only exist until you take a new photograph.

After all the comments berating the Iron Lung Merch Team and the slight over hating, I think I get why now. 4 months after the order date, I got my 2 shirts and was pleasantly surprised to find nothing was damaged, I got my cool little blood bag packaging, a Thank You on my receipt, and 2 shirts. I was unpleasantly surprised to find that one of the shirts isn't what I bought. They gave me The Eel and I love it. However they completely switched The Eye on me and shipped out Tortured Souls instead. I have no issue with this shirt, I liked the concept art for Ellie. And under any other circumstance I'd keep it. But it's not what I payed for. I tried to be nice to them in my email, and I'm sure they've got a lot oh their plates right now, but come on. How hard could it be to tell the difference between The Eye and Tortured Souls. Stop giving reddit ammunition to shoot yall down, please 😭

I wanna find the sm8 so I just followed the coordinates in markipliers video and now im at the x coordinate and angle but if I go forward to the y coordinate, imma hit a wall. What is up
