I think I am finished with my ita bag!! I got this bag on Christmas and I’m so happy to see it in its final state! I made the insert myself with an old bag and paint, this ita bag is held together by a thread, but it is perfect to me
I really like this bag in particular! Unfortunately, Cotton Candy Feet has since shut down :-(
I wear sweet lolita so I really would like something pink and heart shaped to make my coords. Extra design details aren’t necessary but definitely a bonus. As far as price goes, I don’t mind spending a decent amount for something that will last me a while and get a lot of use. Lastly, nylon bags are out for me because of sensory issues.

I'm not a huge fan of shopping for things online, just because it's so easy to miss something in a listing and have to send it back. I know there are a lot of really terrible quality bags at conventions, but are there any tips for finding a good one? Is it hopeless? My next con is Fan Expo Boston if it matters at all, but I usually also go to Anime Boston (couldn't this year due to college) as well.
long time listener, first time caller. it’s coming along so nicely!!! i had a tote i adored and some clear plastic and i made my tote into an ita bag. it’s my first time diying the bag and im so so happy. the next couple things i wanna do are get some small filler pins, make/buy one of those clear keychains for tiny blind box figures, and this one whale shark ita keychain i found and i think that’ll be the perfect end. still very happy with it and i’ll be wearing it out and about.
What with Lee Pace reprising his role as Thranduil in the upcoming Hunt for Gollum film, I figured now was the perfect time to start whipping up a Thrnanduil itabag to bring along to the movie theater eventually! 🦌 Of course, this bag is on the smaller side and doesn't hold a lot of merch... so I have a Wego LL bag on the way to throw everything else into! For now this one is vaguely Dad-Thranduil themed 😏
It's still a WIP, as I hope to add bow keychains to the straps and a faux-necklace to drape between them to refer to the White Gems of Lasgalen. Once I get my other bag for him I'll probably make this one more silver/white/grey themed and add more decorative elements, then have all the fun colorful stuff moved to the big boi one 🤔 But for now I've been using it as my everyday-bag!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share the "Medicine Box" ita bag that I designed myself. It finally arrived, and I honestly couldn't wait to play around with it! I put together a quick and simple layout using some of my absolute favorite badges to see how they'd look on the inner mesh grid insertion. Hi everyone! I wanted to share a playful small animal-inspired lta bag concept I have been working on.
The fun part of this design is that the display window changes depending on how you wear the bag. When worn as a backpack, the display window is not really the main thing people see, so the bag feels more like a cute little animal bag. When worn as a shoulder bag, the front window turns outward and becomes the showcase for pins, badges, charms, and photocards.
So I see it less as an “always-on display backpack” and more as a bag with two moods:
- Backpack mode: lower-profile carry for walking around, commuting lightly, or when you do not want your collection fully on display
- Shoulder mode: display mode for conventions, meetups, photos, and showing your pin setup
It has ears, a soft tail charm, and a front display window. The shape is meant to feel like a little character you can carry around, while the display window still gives space for pins, badges, charms, photocards, and small collectibles.
Current sample details:
- Bag size: about 25 cm tall, 36 cm long, and 12 cm wide
- Total height with ears: about 31.5 cm
- Front clear display window: about 26 cm x 15 cm
- Removable insert board: about 30 cm x 19 cm
- Adjustable shoulder/backpack straps: about 58 cm to 110 cm
- Material: polyester
- Can be worn as a shoulder bag or backpack-style depending on the strap setup
Full disclosure: this may become its own Kickstarter project, but right now I am still figuring out how to present the idea clearly. I would love to hear what people think before I finalize the page.

Recently I’ve been really wanting my own ita bag, but I have no idea what websites to buy high quality ita bags from that don’t include Amazon, SHEIN, aliexpress, or temu. Does anybody have any suggestions? Not too worried about the pricing, but I’d rather not buy anything over $30 😭.
Helllooo!! I'm looking for an ita bag that can fit a lot of things inside that also has compartments on the side for an umbrella or small plushies that is available on shopee
for reference, here's a list of what im putting inside as I will be using it for college
- binder notebook
- 10cm thick pencil case
- a lot of pad paper or another binder notebook
- a pouch for makeup and essentials such as deodorant and tissues

I’ve searched on Aliexpress, and google lens said it’s from a gachapon, so maybe I have to get it second hand from Japan! But hoping someone can find/would know any other ways to get them!
