The Speech Neurophysiology Lab at the University of Michigan is looking for children who stutter ages 9 to 12 to participate in an in-person, longitudinal MRI study! (HUM00196133)
Our research team has been examining brain development in young children to better understand the cause of stuttering for over 10 years. We continue to gain information that may eventually lead to improved diagnosis and treatment efforts for children who stutter.
Participants will be invited to complete speech and language assessments and an MRI session at the University of Michigan. Families receive a free speech and language report and a picture of their brain!
These visits require in person participation. There is no option to participate virtually.

We are looking at buying an expensive home in the Summit Mills Subdivision in Summit Township out by Vrooman road. I'm curious if anyone lives out here could tell me the bylaws and cc/cr laws of the HOA? We are rly digging the home itself and the property it sits on but I am nervous about the possibility of an hoa just bc I know what they're capable of.
...being at the Jackson Crossing (I think?) during a tornado warning in the late 90s-early 00s, and staff redirecting everyone to a long hallway to shelter in place until it passed? I don't remember it lasting very long and it wasn't traumatizing or anything. I just have a vague memory of this, but I don't always trust my memory, so I'm wondering if this actually happened or if it was just a vivid dream or something my brain made up from long ago. 😅
