I wanted to share an update regarding TCS on-campus placements at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) for the 2027 batch.

A total of 35 students got selected, with the following breakdown:

1 — TCS Prime

27 — TCS Digital

7 — TCS Ninja

Where did I get hostel interview serial number??

I was initially allotted Electrical Engineering, but later my branch was upgraded to Electronics Engineering. However, my hostel form still shows my old branch and hasn’t been updated yet. So, for the hostel interview, should I go to the Electrical Engineering Department or the Electronics Engineering Department?

Its very unclear even which exam you have to sit for, im assuming jamia has its own entrance, how do i prepare for that, so far i found bits of question papers on youtube, they look board level, is that the level of the paper overall? and more importantly do i need to prepare biology too? how many papers do i have to sit for? physics, chem, math english or are they all sections of one paper?

I recently submitted an application for admission withdrawal at Jamia Millia Islamia. In my withdrawal application...I had mentioned that I got admission at Delhi University (DU) and that the travel distance to JMI was too long for me.

The application has already been processed and stamped by the office. They told me that the fee refund will take a few days and I can collect my documents soon.

However.. after reconsidering.. I want to cancel my withdrawal and continue my studies at JMI.

Is there any chance JMI will allow me to cancel the withdrawal application at this stage?

Has anyone successfully cancelled their withdrawal after giving a reason like getting admission elsewhere?

Whom should I approach immediately (HOD, Dean, or Registrar Office) to explain my situation????

Thinking of making a running club for everyone after classes after 2 pm or 3 idk. Why in the afternoon because people travel a long distance from jmi so. Open to suggestions. Just a random post to know are people actually interested

Change- morning 7 to 8 classes generally start at 9. Also it will not be everyday but on a particular day of the week like Wednesday.

what happens if u pay your new sem fees late? say i dont pay through the online my jamia portal by the last date and then pay after 2-3 weeks or month, what will be the consequence other than the challan? can they remove my name or something?

I’m already admitted to Jamia Millia Islamia (B.Com Hons), but I’ve now got the option to join Daulat Ram College, DU (B.Com Hons). I’d have to cancel my JMI admission to take DRC.
Is DRC/DU worth leaving JMI for, especially considering DRC is a women’s college? Would you personally make the switch? Looking for honest opinions, especially from JMI/DU students.

I have to come all the way from Lucknow and have no relatives in delhi. Broker keeps pestering me about the visit.

This is genuinely so infuriating. They repeatedly said in the auditorium that the results will be announced in the evening itself but nothing like that happened. How long are we supposed to wait ?
