From your experience, when do you think this will go to clearance? It's 50% off right now, but I prefer my Jcrew on clearance, plus a % off that. Any guesses?

I've recently been finding alot of J.Crew, J Crewn Factory, and Madewell products at my local Marshall's and TJ Maxx. Mostly it's one off things or things that did not sell well (denim chino shorts or pink chinos). Has anyone else been seeing this?
Am I crazy or has anyone else noticed recently that when a piece becomes popular, especially if it goes “viral”, the price of the item increases? Not to mention it being excluded from all promos, which is a given with J. Crew these days. But I swear I’ll see a sweater when it launches, then a week later it’s $10-30 dollars more. Anyone else notice this?
I am 50 now, too lazy to do Poshmark, and no way I’ll ever fit in size 0,2,4 pieces. 😩I don’t necessarily want to sell them, I’d like to just give to a new owner. If there’s interest I’m happy to take some pics.
Also eff JCrew for 86’ing the Tippi. Best selling staple of all time & they stop producing it. Wtf? Current designer is super unimpressive. Terrible, F.
This is made in France so maybe that's why it's a lot more expensive than other claw hair clips.
I've used it and it's alright but I'm not sure if it's worth paying $30, compared to $10 for 4 clips.
