Just wondering if getting the J Crew credit card is worth it. If there's an extra 40% sale, can I stack the 20% credit card disount and the 15% student discount?

I just opened up my jcrew package moments ago and I’m wso disappointed at the look of this sweater. Why are there already snags in it?! I’m so confused as to why they’d send a sweater to me in this condition. I had waited for so long to receive this package and I’m so incredibly disappointed at this result. No extra % off Clearance?
I have been waiting for my Birthday Coupon $25 off. I put some things in my shopping basket and there is another promotion if you have the j CREW mastercard. I figured I wouldn’t be able to use all these discounts and promotions together but I could figure out my best deal, but they took away the extra discount on clearance. It was 30% then 40% then 30% then 40% then nothing. Prices did not get lowered either. Swim trunks are still $84.99. Could
