I’m genuinely curious. Every time I go there, the receptionists are ridiculously attractive compared to pretty much every other hospital. Is it just a coincidence, or does HR have some secret recruiting strategy? What’s going on?

Before I ask my question, I just want to say I'm not Saudi. I was born and raised in Jeddah and still live here. Alhamdulillah, I'm grateful to Saudi Arabia for the life I've had here. May Allah continue to bless and protect the Kingdom, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the Al Saud family.

Now for my random question. 😂

I'm originally a guy from a South Asian country, but I was born and raised in Jeddah. I'm also fluent in the local Hijazi dialect, although I definitely don't look like a local LoL and most of my close friends online are Westerners through PlayStation and social media. Here in Jeddah, I also have a couple of close Italian and German friends that I hang out with occasionally.

It just made me wonder... how do Westerners here generally see South Asians? I don't really see many Westerners and South Asians hanging out together, so I'm curious if it's just my observation.

If you're a Westerner living in Saudi, would you be open to being friends with a South Asian? Or do you already have South Asian friends? I'm genuinely curious to hear your thoughts.

Hey all - I've moved here from UK a year ago and rebuilding my social circle here. I really enjoy raves / trance events and never been a fan of clubbing in general.

I've noticed events on Platinum list website / insta about house type music events which I'm thinking to give a shot. However most likely alone (done that in UK few times and is normal / also good to meet new people).

How is the vibe here in KSA / Jeddah esp considering going alone to enjoy music and dance.

Given my job long hours, I may not be available for any activity until after 9pm.

I have a friend who made her 3rd suicide attempt in King Abdulaziz hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia while on suicide watch by the staff in the psych unit. My question is how did the staff even let her attempt again while she’s on suicide watch? And the only possibility I can think of is she hanged herself, but is that even possible in the psych unit of the hospital? She told me they let her go to the bathroom without supervision so I’m having a feeling she hanged herself from a lamp or something. They took her phone after the attempt and it’s got me worried everyday because I have no clue if she is even alive or not. And the doctor blocked my point of contact so I’m guessing the doctor got annoyed by us asking questions or she is dead:/. Please make dua for her and let me know what the possibilities of the situation are. The doctor told us her situation is very critical and that is why they took her phone and that she is alive after her 3rd attempt, but soon after he blocked us and it’s driving me crazy because I have no clue why he blocked us and the only reason I can think is bc she is dead and the doctor doesn’t want to look guilty because I warned the doctor that she is replanning her attempt and he still let it happen despite my warning… if you are able to help me find out whether she is alive or not please pm me
