1973 CJ6 takes forever to start. I thought I might have an undersized battery but the cold cranking amps are fine. Fuel is clean. Any trouble shooting tips? Usually starts quicker after it’s been running awhile.

What Wrangler/CJ would be the best all round vehicle. Not extreme off roading but weekend play toy to just ride around town in. Best year, engine, and transmission.

I had an 1973 CJ5 with the 304 V8 engine, side exit headers, three speed transmission, small lift and 33" tires. No radio just the sound of the engine and the wind. Did not even have a top for it.
