How i feel knowing that the show is ending again.

I don’t mean the well hidden ones like “well actually Roger was in Italy” I mean blatant. Like Jionni and the uncle and stuff coming to pick up Vinny’s girl he took home (before Jionni was even introduced, I’m convinced Snooki met him as an “actor” plant now).
Or maybe season 1 the girls Mike and Pauly ditched finding their way back to the house after they had the other two girls there? Def felt like producers led them right to there to create a “situation”.
I feel like if we got some fresh faces and filmed in a new beach town (ocean city MD comes to mind) it would be so fun!
The way this little girl reacts to Paulys usual screaming at the Shore Store is so sweet. Shes like what the hell...and then the high fives. So sweet. Pauly seems great around kids
I've been watching old episodes lately. their acting/attempt at acting is so CRINGE im in pain. That's all for now, thank you.
Full of himself? Sure
Way too proud of “ smushing,” and acts like it’s an accomplishment? Definitely.
But when I watch season 1 and season 2, I actually see that he’s a decent guy, all things considered and maybe a better guy than Pauly. Pauly‘s probably second though, only because he was way too happy to hook up with Jenni, knowing she had a boyfriend.
But Mike tried SO HARD with Angelina. He gave her the most chances of everyone, even inviting her out right after that nasty fight where he called her a dirty hamster and he apologized for a different fight, when he had no reason to. He just asked her to clean the kitchen so he can cook, since she does absolutely nothing.
Angelina just keeps being rude and trying to start fights when NOBODY wanted to fight her. And Pauly was right, every fight that happens, happens because of her. Even going all the way back to the cab, she started a weird fight, and then as Mike is inviting her out with them ( on her last episode) she immediately starts it all up again.
Anyway, at the end of the fight where Angelina leaves, Jenni says something like Mike can push a lot of buttons, but I just don’t get that vibe. Unless he got better editing than Angelina to make her the villain, it looks like he’s usually a pretty decent guy. I kinda wonder if it’s one of those situations where a person is blunt and some people take that personally. And I know Vinny and Snooki had a few issues with him in season 1, but he seems okay, all things considered.
Am I way off base?
EDITED: To clarify, I’m on my first watch. Never watched this back in school, but got interested when I saw some clips.
I haven’t watched family vacation in about two years. The last episode I watched was same coming back. So I’ve been catching up. I’m not on season 7 coming towards the end of the season. Angelina and 2.0……. Does it get any better? They do a great job of making you feel sorry for both parties. Because we all know that Angelina is a mess but her story and the things she’s been through I can’t imagine she’s okay and I definitely think she needs time to be single and get herself together. But I just watched the episode where 2.0 talks about how she locks him out of the house doesn’t give him access to any of the security codes or keys but he’s still sticks by her and loves her because he feels it’s the right thing to do. I’m not too sold on that I definitely think he’s playing some sort of game maybe just a light exploitation of the little bit of fame the show gives him, plus we all know that Ange likes to paint things one way on social media and then a different way in real life. I can imagine she tells him that he needs to stick by her and support her because he’s on the show now too so maybe that’s why he feels like he needs to be more involved than just being the boyfriend. But it just sucks to watch both of them because Angelina every episode looks like she’s either doing some heavy drug withdrawals or having some sort of mental breakdown.
Rewatching the drama had me conflicted and I just wanted to see who was the problem. Honestly I think Sam loved drama. And Ron was toxic. Especially seeing all of his pass relationships on the internet.
We all agree that Ronnie is.......oh god, but I do think he's funny. Watching his interviews on the show does make me laugh
Rewatching some of the earlier seasons and I keep thinking about the gap between filming and when episodes actually aired. These were regular people working boardwalk jobs and club shifts, and then suddenly there were cameras following them everywhere and eventually a paycheck that probably looked nothing like what they were used to. But what happened between seasons when they had to go back to regular life for a while?
Pauly had the DJ thing already going so that tracks. Snooki built real businesses over time and you can kind of follow that arc. But some of the others I genuinely cannot picture. What did the inbetween actually look like for them? Did anyone ever bring this up in interviews or on one of the podcasts they do now?
I feel like Angelina would be the most honest about it if someone asked her the right way. She has never really seemed like she filters much.
The thing that keeps nagging at me is that the show just skips over all of that and picks back up each season like nothing happened. Vinny touches on real life stuff more than the others from what I have seen, but even he keeps it pretty surface level.
Has anyone followed their offseason lives closely enough to know if this has come up anywhere?
Does anyone remember the episode when the thunderstorm knocked out the power in seaside & Deena was like “I’m getting in my car & im driving away” MAAM YOU CANNOT DRIVE AWAY FROM A TORNADO 😭😭
I own the series on the Fandango app. Scrolled a bit too far when trying to find the episode I wanted and found this Common Sense Media rating of the Jersey Shore series. Pretty accurate, I'd say. Poor 'Educational Value' section - not a single dot! Lol
Trying to identify an early OG Jersey Shore episode. I’m almost positive Pauly walks into a club, looks around at the women, and says they look ‘haunted.’ He meant they looked exhausted, not ugly. Does anyone remember the episode?
Aka Ron throwing the bed around, the marshmallows stuck on every surface, the clogged toilets, etc
I understand the whole thing about Ronnie bringing his relationship on to the show and all over social media, but the way how the cast mates make it seem like Ron was making Mike’s wedding about him and Jen is blowing my mind.
Not once did Ron bring her up this day. Not once were they arguing in front of everyone, so i’m not really understanding the part where everyone keeps saying “Can he just let the day be about Mike for once” when the only people that are making it about Ron and Jen ARE THE ROOMMATES.
Mike could honestly give two craps and instead of the boys surrounding Mike and just being positive for Mike, they go to the room where the girls are and continue to talk sh*t about Ronnie and Jen and make it seem like Ronnie is making it about him when he has barely said TWO WORDS about him and Jen.
They’re kinda insufferable.
Lindsay did time in 2010 so I guess they were filming S3 & LOL what rich advice coming from Mike & Ron ☕️ no Deena? I wanted to see her get her hair done too 😂
Wait I see Angelina…okay, before S3!
People forget that it started as a Burger King led reunion, then an E! Special , and there was so much garnered interest in the two reunions that MTV decided to bring it back.
