How bad are US Tarrifs these days? I heard that Jjjjound set up a US distribution hub, is that a thing or can US buyers expect to have to pay 50% of purchase?

Jjjjound 1890 tax problem

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased the new JJJJound x New Balance 1890.
I live in the Netherlands and paid $48,30 in estimated taxes (21% VAT) during checkout.
However, I’ve now received a message from DHL asking me to pay around €100 in import duties and taxes before they will deliver my package.
It appears that JJJJound shipped the order as DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid), despite charging taxes at checkout.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, were you able to get a refund for the taxes you paid at checkout, or did JJJJound explain what those “Estimated Taxes” actually covered?

Hello! Been a fan of their work for a while now. Have some footwear collabs but am interested in buying clothes. Thing is I’m 6.5ft and rather skinny. Is jjjjound a good brand for the tall and skinny?
