I can't wait to see that movie next week or so.

Dad has been bugging me to watch The Quiet Man for a few days, not that I had a problem with that besides finding the dedicated time to do it uninterrupted.

I absolutely love Barry Fitzgerald in this movie, to me Michaleen Flynn was the greatest side character in any of his movies. The Duke had so many great actors along side him but I will always come back to this.

Who would you all feel is the greatest side character? Just wondering

Me? The War Wagon.

Followed by Hatari, Rio Bravo, El Dorado, Rio Lobo, and recently, Hondo.

I can't believe some people would go so far as to wrongfully accuse the late John Wayne of being a racist and misogynist based on false rumors.

This is worse than the time some people accuse the late Walt Disney of being an antisemitic Nazi or both Johnny Depp and the late Sean Connery of being wife beaters based on false rumors.

Well, I, for one, do not believe such nonsense. I'll admit John Wayne is not much of my hero and that I only like some of his movies, but that doesn’t mean I hate him up to a point where I'd wrongfully accuse him of such ridiculous things either.

First, John Wayne plays a guy named Sean Thornton in The Quiet Man.

Then, he plays a guy named Sean Mercer in Hatari.

And finally, he plays a guy named Cole Thornton in El Dorado.

Most of his other roles have names starting with "John" too. Lol.
