I've been having back problems that, I think, yoga could help alleviate. Is there an effective, local, low-cost, beginner-friendly option in town? What kind of cost and schedule would I be looking at?
Those who are into archery where do you like to practice shooting? I have a residential home and I am not entirely sure my lot would be legal to practice using my compound bow. Also I have neighbors on most sides of my property so from a safety aspect it’s not the greatest. Any local archery groups that get together?

Do you guys think something like a full ceramics studio with classes, and membership packages could survive in Joplin? More than just somewhere to glaze slip casted bisqueware but a working studio to learn and grow in. Somewhere that people ranging from production potters to novest noobs could come together in creating.

I’m in south Joplin/Saginaw area and just heard two huge booms. About 10 minutes or so apart. Anyone else hear them? Not fireworks. Almost sonic boom sound. I was outside watering flowers when one hit and then a short time later another one just as loud if not louder hit. Anyone know what the deal is?

The stuff I'm really into is building things: web apps, AI agents, bots, local LLMs, PCs — and I'm always cooking up business or side-gig ideas. Entrepreneurial nerd is probably the most honest way to put it.
I don't get out much and I'd like to have a friend to do stuff with — bounce ideas around, maybe collaborate on a project. I'm looking for kind of another geeky person who's into this stuff. Also into nu-metal and 90s alternative/country, and DIY everything.
