when Hunter x Hunter is the far better experience for him? I can see him being tired with OP at some point because it does really repeat patterns. There's even a moment where it becomes a plot point later on in the series (Dressrosa and Alabasta).

Meanwhile HxH has probably the best power system throughout all of manga, constantly subverts expectations and the characters are incredibly well written. Also it's only like a third of chapters compared to the huge amount OP has. I'm a huge fan of One Piece as well but I might recommend HxH first instead.
