“Classic” Journey Album Ranking

I’m guessing this is gonna get some flack but here’s my ranking for the classic era of Journey (pre Perry and post Rolie).

I really don’t like much of anything after ROR. I gave TBF a try. I listened to it a few times and I just couldn’t stand all of the ballads. I’ve heard a few songs from their later albums and it seems to me like it just continues on with the ballads.

Journey Fans Are Asking Questions After This Performance

I was right and Steve Champagne was right. Arnel Pineda’s voice was already destroyed. So, Arnel Pineda should tell the band Journey to hire Kati Cher to replace him so he can go back to the Philippines and he can retire from singing forever.

Baseball game with Journey

While I was an older teen, the local radio station WRIF staff/DJs played a baseball game with Journey/roadies, with the public invited. I attended. The crowd grew rather large... all members of the band played, except Steve Perry. After the game, a bus pulled up near home plate, to pick up the band. I was right near the fence by home plate. The crowd saw the bus and started pressing toward home base. I could feel the crowd against me, pushing me into the fence. So much so, that I was no longer standing upright. I was leaning and holding onto the fence to keep me up. The bus doors opened and the crowd pressed further. As this happened, a large van pulled up near the duggout and the band popped out and ran into the van and left. The homeplate bus was a decoy. 👀
