LEGO® DIMENSIONS™ 10th Anniversary - #92702: Lord V's foundation prime throne chair (Lego Ideas submission)
Set Information
“I've found it. After all these years of searching, it really exists, Foundation Prime!”
Out of everything to come out of LEGO® DIMENSIONS™ (2015-2017), Lord Vortech, is the second coolest and interesting main villain for the Toys to Life genre, Kaos (Skylanders*™*: Spyro's Adventures-IMAGINATORS) is still the best villain of all time. He was originally meant to become a playable character, but the game was discontinued before getting it's third year. Although LEGO® DIMENSIONS™ ended in 2017, the game remains popular among fans for its crossover storytelling and unique Toys-to-Life gameplay.
Here's my Lord V's Foundation Prime Throne Chair [92702] for LEGO® DIMENSIONS™ 10th Anniversary. This is one out of four sets that I'm making to send it to LEGO® Ideas. This is a smaller version of the set than in-game version. Also, I have a question for everyone that's reading my LEGO® Idea project submission: If The LEGO® Group company bring back DIMENSIONS™ as a regular LEGO® theme sets, would they use regular LEGO® Minifigures or Smart Brick Minifigures?
If The LEGO® Group uses Smart Brick Minifigures to bring back LEGO® DIMENSIONS™, I think that it will be either a great idea for some people and very expensive to buy. They can put the smart tags on all Lord Vortech Minifigures, It's regular brick build Character "Toy Tag" color (real one has transparent colors) on the bottom using the Tile 2X2 Inv. Round (Element id 3567) circle piece, and the same exact piece for X-Po's vehicle Toy Tag.
Here's the information about Lord Vortech's foundation prime throne chair:
The Lord Vortech Throne Chair on Foundation Prime serves as the central command seat for the main antagonist of the LEGO® DIMENSIONS™ Video Game. It is located at the center of the multiverse where all dimensions were originally created. Watch the heroes confront Lord Vortech directly in his throne room during the dramatic boss fight throughout the entire game of LEGO® DIMENSIONS™:
Key Features of the Throne in-game
The Location: It sits inside Lord Vortech's massive, shifting fortress built over the "Foundation of All Dimensions" (the original Green Baseplate).
The Backside Storage: The back architecture of the throne contains designated slots designed to house the 12 Foundation Elements stolen from different universes (such as Kryptonite and The One Ring).
The Purpose: Sitting on the throne allows an omnipotent Lord Vortech to channel the elements to collapse, merge, and rebuild all realities into a single "perfect" world under his tyrannical rule.
The Final Battle Stage: The throne room acts as the primary arena for the game's final boss fights, where players must solve Shift, Chroma, and Locate portal puzzles on the physical Toy Pad to strip Vortech of his reality-bending powers.
Key Features of the Throne set
Lord Vortech (minifigure) - This is 1/4 versions of Lord Vortech Minifigs that I made for this Lego ideas. The set includes a custom Lord Vortech minifigure inspired by the cancelled 71280 Fun Pack concept, featuring medium-blue color accents, a unique staff, and a themed display stand representing the Foundation Prime energy floor. The minifig colors for head, torso, and legs are medium blue while the hips are dark Brown.
Every Lord Vortech minifig includes the iconic helmet piece (Element id 6190053/28511) in different colors shown in leaks, cancelled official - #71280/92703 or in-game accurate.
All four Vortech minifigs have color variations of their staff piece in all four LEGO Ideas sets that I made (#92701-92704). This set (#92702) includes the iconic black staff piece: POLE, NO. 1 (Element id 28511 /Design id 6190055) with Flat Tile 2x2, Round (Element id 14769) which represents the rift circle shown in the video game.
All four Vortech minifigs have color variations of Plate 4x4, Circle W. 2 Knobs (Element id 32627) display stand that represents its "Galaxy glow" on the floor shown in-game. This one includes the Medium Blue color variation that matches its minifig in this set.
All four Vortech minifigs will have a 1x1 brick (element id 3005) color variations with "Galaxy glow" decoration print which represents one of its pieces from the Post-credit scene.
Also, all four Vortech minifigs have color variations of Tile 2X2 Inv. Round (Element id 3567) circle piece that represents Lord Vortech character selection circle when you pick him in the game. This one has a Medium Blue color variation that matches its minifig in this set.
Vortech's Throne (display piece) - This is a minifig scale version of Lord Vortech's Throne Chair that sits on Foundation Prime and looks in-game accurate shown in LEGO® DIMENSIONS™.
The Keystone Elements - on the backside of Lord Vortech's Throne, one can put all three new keystones that were featured within Year 2 of the game, each with their own designated storage spot. All three of them are not included in this set, but you can get them in other sets: #92700 - CW Flash Cosmic Threadmill & Keystones Rift (RIP and Phase keystones) and #92704 - Lord V's foundation clones creation (creation keystone).
Also Included - on the right side of Lord Vortech's Throne, there's a Bar 5L with Handle (Friction Ram - element id 87618) for you to either put Starter set X-Po (LEGO® DIMENSIONS™ #71170-71174) or Foundation prime X-Po/cancelled 71280 fun pack vehicle (remake into #92703 - Lord v & foundation X-Po 3-in-1 build). I don't know what color would it be if this turned out to be an official Lego set: Transparent light blue, Transparent yellow, black, or dark stone grey.
There's a special personal and in-game "Easter Egg" reference hiding inside the Throne Chair. The three numbers of the set itself is the reference for the LEGO® DIMENSIONS™ video game released date.
Story Mode Tiles - This is a 1x3 Tile design which is a reference from the Chapter selection screen in LEGO® DIMENSIONS™ video game. These Story Mode 1x3 Tiles appears in all five LEGO® DIMENSIONS™ 10th Anniversary sets (#92700-92704) that I made for LEGO Ideas. Here's an upscale picture of the Story Mode 1x3 Tile that included in this set.
