I found this dog yesterday and I'm not sure if she's a Kangal breed, i believe she's a female.
Does anyone know if she's certainly a Kangal? Also any estimates about her age? She seems still quite young to me.
I'm trying to find her owner so I'll take care of her until then.
Any other tips are appreciated.
Long story short, we adopted a dog from the humane society thinking it was a Great Pyrenees mix and it’s most likely some type of Kangal mix. We love him and want to keep him safe on our large-ish property.
I did some research on gps electric fence collars and bought a Dogtra GPS fence collar (rural living so the power goes out often during windstorms and I was worried an underground wire wouldn’t be reliable.)
Has anyone else used this brand? Do you have one you like better? If you are using this model, what are your settings for the correction function?

Hi, this is Sandy. She's a rescue from Macedonia; she's about 4.5-5 months old and is coming home in about 2 and a half weeks. I've been told that she's a German Shepherd cross, but I'm starting to wonder if she might be a Kangal? Although I was told she will grow to about large medium. So excited to be welcoming this bundle of joy into the family soon
