Hey guys, hope you're all doing fine!I really need some advice 😭 So basically, I got 73% in 9th class (Agha Khan board), but I'm super stressed because my 10th grade exams went bad and I might drop to like 68-69% 💔I know Bahria College is strict and asks for a hope certificate, but one of my friends got in even though she had 65% in 9th! Her dad is in the Air Force though, so maybe that's why? She wasn't even warned about getting kicked out if her 10th marks dropped.Do you think if I talk to them and promise to do retakes to get over 75%, they’ll actually give me a spot in XI? 🥺 I know it sounds like a dumb question but I really want to join Bahria for 1st year.My cousin did XI/XII there and said if I absolutely smash the entrance test, they might negotiate a little. Has anyone done this before? Pls help a girl out 🙏 Thanks!

I wanted to check if the wifes name change after marriage i.e having her own name + Husbands name in the CNIC and Passport etc causes issues in immigration/visas etc?

As per simple logic, the marriage certificate should suffice for the surname (i.e husbands name) instead of the dads name.

Please let me know if anyone has any experience of immigration etc.

So I am appearing for a certification exam soon and the exam is going to be conducted online via an aap. I initially planned to take the exam from home but it's impossible with the load shedding. My laptop battery will not last the 3.5 hours I need for the exams.

I'm looking for a place that offers reliable internet and electricity so I can take my exam in peace. I looked into the office spaces available at luckyone and such but they cost around 12-14k for four hours. I am not sure about any libraries or coffee wagera like places because I've never tried them before.

What other options do I have?

I used to be in Lahore and got my qurbani done by one of the local seminaries (Jamia Ashrafiya), they'd have cattle and they'd sacrifice the meat to students or orphans.

I'm not in Lahore for this Eid, is there an online equivalent where I can get a portion of a cow or something?

The parents have asked that the girl and guy should talk and it's better to get to know each other. Girl's family hasnt met up with the guy cause he's abroad. They did take the girl's number so the guy can contact. Haven't had contact yet. But the girl got to know from the person who introduced the families that the guy is completely dependent on his parents to make this decision for him. Which feels weird to the girl as she'd like someone who is interested in her.
The guy's family seems to have a really good bond with each other and the parents, like friends.
What are the reasons someone wouldn't wanna choose for themselves in today day and age? And is it a bad thing?

Last night, my uncle landed in Karachi from the USA. He is well-settled there and is actually a millionaire, around 46 years old, and a successful businessman. The reason I'm sharing this is that he came here with several iPhone 17s for me, my siblings, and our cousins.

But when he reached our house, he had already been robbed. Yes — right in front of us, everything he had brought was gone. The main mistake my uncle made was carrying all the iPhones in bags that clearly contained only iPhones, which made them an easy target. The snatchers grabbed the bags along with cash worth millions.

He had also come here to purchase a very expensive house in DHA, but after this incident, he completely changed his mind and decided against buying it.

Karachi is literally ownerless (lawaris). Imagine withdrawing a huge amount of money from the bank and getting robbed on your way — how would that feel?

If you have the following capital in cash, what realistic and profitable businesses can one start in Karachi. Please be real and don't say things like Rs. 5 cr can start a factory in Korangi. You needs several dozen times the amount for that venture.

a) Rs. 10 crore (restaurant, supermarket, bakery) ???

b) Rs. 25 crore (pharmacy, wholesale, car showroom) ???
