**Meet Milo.** 💔
Milo’s life changed overnight.
When his family was deported from Pakistan to Afghanistan, they had no choice but to leave him behind. Suddenly, the safety of a home was replaced by the harsh reality of life on the streets.
Alone and frightened, Milo was attacked by big cats. By the time his family reached out to us, he was in terrible condition injured, traumatized, and desperately in need of help.
We rescued Milo and brought him to our shelter, hoping time and care would heal his wounds. But despite days of treatment, his persistent fever wouldn’t go away, and no antibiotics seemed to help.
After further testing, we received the heartbreaking diagnosis: **Dry FIP.**
We immediately started him on **GS**, and after just a few injections, his fever has finally returned to normal a small but hopeful sign that he’s responding to treatment.
Now Milo has a real chance to live, but he can’t do it without your help.

This resilient little girl is already eating gruel completely on her own, making mealtime a breeze. She does have some hair loss and suspected ringworm, but she has already started her medication to help her recover. Lady just needs a cozy, dedicated foster space to rest, heal, and flourish until she is old and healthy enough to find an adopter.

A woman abandoned these two tiny kittens in a plastic bag on the side of a busy road and walked away.
By pure luck, my brother witnessed it happening and rescued them just in time. Otherwise, they would have been run over within minutes.
We can only imagine how desperately their mother is searching for them.
If you cannot care for animals, please don’t abandon them to such a cruel fate. Every life deserves kindness and compassion.

This kitten was rescued after being found lying outside a house for two days with severe injuries.
After a veterinary examination, we learned that his injuries were consistent with severe trauma, most likely from being brutally beaten or struck by a vehicle. He has a fractured spine, a hernia, and serious internal injuries, and is currently in critical condition.
Although his injuries can be treated and his condition may improve, the damage to his spine is deep and he will remain paralyzed. He will never be able to urinate or pass stool on his own and will require lifelong nursing care.
Our goal is to relieve his pain, treat his injuries, and give him the best quality of life possible.
We are now covering the costs of his diagnostics, hospitalization, medications, and ongoing treatment. If you would like to support his recovery and long-term care, any contribution will make a meaningful difference.

Meet Nessa. ❤️
Nessa was born different. She has only one nostril, a rare birth defect that never stopped her from becoming a loving mother.

Against all odds, this brave little fighter made it through his emergency surgery.

After enduring unimaginable pain for two days with his intestines exposed, he’s finally safe. He is recovering well, receiving pain medication, antibiotics, and round-the-clock care. While he still has a long road ahead, he’s showing us that he wants to live.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared his story, and prayed for him. Your kindness gave this tiny soul a second chance.

Mano’s Story: A Miracle of Love ❤️
When Mano suffered a devastating electric shock, he lost both of his legs. Everyone believed he wouldn’t survive. His injuries were so severe that many thought the kindest option was to give up.
But we refused.
We chose to fight for his life because every life deserves a chance.
Today, Mano is living proof that love, patience, and proper care can work miracles. He runs, plays, and enjoys life in his own unique way. He reminds us every single day that disability does not mean the end of life.
Sadly, Mano’s story is not unique. Every year, countless innocent animals are electrocuted because of exposed electrical wires and unsafe infrastructure. These heartbreaking tragedies are preventable.
The only real solution is safe electrical infrastructure—covered wires, proper maintenance, and the removal of dangerous exposed electrical hazards. No animal should lose its life or limbs because of human negligence.
Mano survived. Many others never get that chance.
Let’s work toward a future where no more innocent lives are lost to preventable electrical accidents.

My rescue dog Golu has been unwell and needs proper veterinary treatment. We first took him to the government veterinary hospital, but unfortunately there has been no improvement.

The only option now is a private veterinary hospital, but we simply cannot afford it.

The expenses add up very quickly:

₹500 just for the consultation.

Around ₹3,000 for blood tests and X-rays (this is what they cost during his last visit).

Then medications and any further treatment.

A single visit can easily cost ₹5,000–₹6,000, and right now that is beyond our means.

Last year, we somehow managed to pay for his treatment, but our financial situation has changed completely. We are no longer in a position where we can spend that amount.

We've also reached out to almost every animal NGO and rescue we could find in Kanpur, but unfortunately none of them have been able to provide financial assistance or take over his treatment. Some simply don't have the resources, while others said they couldn't help.

I'm posting here to ask:

Does anyone know of any low-cost veterinary hospitals or charities that can help?

Are there any organizations anywhere in India that provide financial assistance for pet medical treatment?

If you've been through something similar, how did you manage?

Watching him suffer while knowing treatment exists but being unable to afford it is heartbreaking.

Any advice, resources, or guidance would mean the world to us.

It’s been a while po since we posted an update regarding momo. Last time we were asking for an advice since even after catheterization ay nahihirapan pa rin po siyang umihi. We thought he was okay at first, he was urinating hanggang sa hindi nanaman. Sinubukan po naming i-observe pa siya gaya ng nasabi ng mga napagtanungan ko po with the same case, but unfortunately nahihirapan po talaga siyang mag-urinate and it urged us to the decision that was also hard for us. On July 19, he underwent PU or Perineal Urethrostomy. His vet said that it’s the last option po if mag reccur ulit ‘yung blockage niya. Sa ngayon po, his vet informed us that he’s doing well and okay naman po ang nagiging response niya sa surgery.

We are humbly asking for your prayers po for his continuous recovery. Hihingi rin po ako ng tulong sa bills niya dahil sa ngayon po ay inabot na ng 24,386 ang total vet bills niya, 11,920 for his surgery and 12,466 po for his 7 days confinement. Fortunately, pumayag po ‘yung vet niya na magbigay po muna kami ng 9k. And for the remaining balance + ‘yung confinement fees ay to be paid na lang daw po upon discharge.

So all in all po we are looking to raise 15,386, any amount po is highly appreciated. Pasensya na po, I know that this is a big amount na kailangan but hindi na rin po kasi talaga namin alam kung ano ang gagawin at recovering pa rin po kami sa naging bills niya rin last time nung na catheter siya. Sobrang nagpapasalamat rin po ako sa mga nagbigay at tumulong po last time, kahit po sa mga nag-comment at repost to boost the reach of our post. Thank you po ulit.

💔 Rescue cases are draining us emotionally, physically, and financially.
Today, we rescued three more innocent kittens, and heartbreakingly, all three have been diagnosed with FIP.
🐾 Chinku, our tiny orange ginger boy, is suffering from wet FIP. He has pleural effusion, making every breath a struggle. He was living on the streets, fighting for his life, until he was rescued and brought to our shelter. He has now started his life-saving treatment.
🐾 Our second rescue is a tiny stray kitten who is nothing but skin and bones. She is suffering from dry FIP, leaving her extremely weak and unable to enjoy the kittenhood she deserves. Today is only her second day of treatment, and we are praying she continues to respond.
🐾 The third baby was cruelly abandoned because of his illness. His owners threatened to dump him if we didn’t take him in. We couldn’t let him suffer alone. He has wet FIP, and we have immediately started his treatment as well.
Every one of these babies deserves a chance to live.
But the reality is heartbreaking. The daily treatment cost for these three kittens alone is around $50, and with so many other rescued animals already in our care, we simply cannot do this without your help.

💔 Our hearts are shattered… Rest in Peace, Dilbar. 🕊️
Dilbar was only three months old. Just a tiny baby with the most beautiful heart-shaped marking on his fur, as if he was born to remind us what pure love looks like. ❤️
He wasn’t just another rescue he was family. He was one of the most loving souls we have ever known. Every single day, he would climb onto me and gently “massage” my hair with his tiny paws. Those little moments became my favorite part of the day, and I never imagined they would become memories so soon.
He fought FPV with incredible strength and was almost completely recovered. We truly believed he had won. Then, without warning, he suddenly developed jaundice. We did everything we co, but this time, love wasn’t enough to save him.
My heart is shattered. The shelter feels emptier without his playful little footsteps, his cuddles, and the endless love he gave so freely. Losing him has left a pain that words cannot describe.
Run free, my precious Dilbar. Thank you for choosing us, even if it was only for a short while. You took a piece of my heart with you, and that piece will always belong to you.

💔 Warning: Graphic injury

For two long days, this tiny kitten suffered with his intestines exposed after a horrific injury. We don’t know exactly what happened he may have fallen onto a sharp object or been attacked by a dog or larger cats but the pain he endured is unimaginable.

According to the person who reported him, he had been seen in this condition for two days before finally being brought to our shelter. By the time he reached us, he was exhausted, terrified, and barely holding on.

🚨 He needs immediate emergency surgery. His condition is life-threatening, and without urgent surgical intervention, he may not survive.

💔 Update on Queenie 💔
Queenie gave everything she had for her six precious babies. After surviving life on the streets and raising her kittens with incredible love and strength, her body finally gave out. Severe calcium, iron, and vitamin B12 deficiencies left her too weak to even walk.
But today, we have a small glimmer of hope. ❤️
Queenie has started eating again, and because of her neurological symptoms, we have also started treatment for suspected Neuro FIP. She still has a long, uncertain road ahead, but she is finally getting the chance to fight.
