I Bought a new bmw more than a year ago and got free tinted with it which was llumar . Since i always park my car outside in the sun the steering wheel got melted and it becomes sticky.Tried wiping it and that sticky feeling isnt going away.

Also since i parked my car outside always i bought a good tint few weeks ago which was 3m the new one and it costed rm3k and i feel like i got scammed. Its still so hot inside and in the dashboard.

I feel like there is no heat rejection at all or maybe i am tripping. I dont feel satisfied and went back to the shop to check and they used the meter and said it was 99% heat rejection.

Is it that the sun is too hot or the tinted is shit? I lost hope.

Hi everyone, just want to know your recommendations on which oil type to use for your car, especially new honda city. The dealership recommended 0w20 but if quite expensive. After some research, many people said 5w30 will do fine. What is your experience on this .

Bought a Chery Omoda 5h last year and got it early August. By February the two front tyres and both worn out, especially the left side. Bought a second hand practically new Giti tyres(same brand as stock) from the service center and complained about how fast they got worn out, the foreman said most likely because I kept the air pressure at 250kpa and advised to keep it at 220kpa.

The new tyres practically exploded 2 months after, in Aprilbought new tyres from Lim tyres and did a whole checkup and they told me the tyres needed to be at 250kpa and said they did the balancing and rotating so it should be fine now.

Now not even 4 months later and it’s getting pretty worn already, would probably last me less than a month.. So how do I go about reporting the issue and possibly check for defects? I dont know much about cars but read that it might be because of suspension issues, especially since the left side is a lot worse for no reason.

FYI, my apartment parking has a lot of right turns to go up to the eighth floor so that might add to the issue, but it doesn’t make sense that the LEFT tyre is the one worn out the most

Rn i go everywhere using bike, and planning to either get another bike or a car. The thing is, i dont really like driving, but i also believe everyone needs a car,especially as a guy. But, i cant imagine myself spending 3hrs daily just on the road,while i can cut it to less than 1 hr with a bike.

If i go buying a bike,im planning on getting a naked bike, sub 250cc, and prolly only use it during weekend earlier on (never ride clutch bike), and maybe once comfy using it, use it to go work. If i go car route, i plan on a sub 10k car, and buy cash. The reason im considering a car is, kinda annoying when its raining and ur riding a bike. My biggest worry when it comes to buying a car is prolly not maintenance, rather toll + parking. Live in shah alam, work in puchong.

Are there also people out there, who also have no car? Would appreciate any advice (or scolding)

Hi everyone, my 2018 Proton Saga (122,000 km) pulls to the left when I brake.

Previously had a brake switch issue that was fixed. Then the brake pedal sometimes feels firm then suddenly eases/drops, and it started to pull left side whenever braking.

Two different workshops checked and adjusted the rear tyres, inspected the front calipers and brake pump, adjusted the brake and changed the brake fluid. They say everything in front is good. But the left pull still happens. No noises, no vibration, no visible leaks, visually nothing wrong to pick out. My trusted mechanic suggested to change the master pump.

Anyone have any ideas?

Any EV owner here staying at a condo/apartment that do not have EV charging facilities ?How do you actually manage to charge your car? I wanted to purchase an EV but I'm not staying at a place that have EV chargers, so I foresee I might need to purposely visit places that have charging facilities from time to time.

I'm looking for a new car and have these 3 on my shortlist. Mainly going to be city driving but needs to be comfortable enough to seat 4 adults+1 child seat sometimes. Most of the time on weekends its just going to be 2 adults+1 child but weekdays it's just me. If it were just me alone i'd probably have been happy to keep the Myvi or get a Yaris Cross or Aruz but I need the weekend space so...

Alternatively I may consider something like a Veloz or Serena as a 7 seater but I'm not convinced its worth it for the extra 2 seats and being only me on weekdays.

Thoughts and experiences welcomed. How assured are we of GWM service long term? Proton and Toyota I have no concerns since they are common in our market

HRV looks nice but way out of budget.

PHEV and EV not in consideration because not landed and I would need to rely on shared/public charging spots.

Recently i went to a tyre shop to do tyre rotate. So they said that both of my rear camber are not aligned. They quoted me 180/set for the camber nut/screw . Is that a normal price for both tyre at the back? I think its too expensive so i just proceed for alignment and balancing only

I'm in the middle of buying a new car and trading in my old one, and I've encountered something confusing that I hope you can help clarify.

The Situation:

New Car (ZEEKR 7X):

- Total price: RM 199,395.39

- HLB loan approved: RM 179,400 (9 years @ 2.24% flat rate)

- Balance to pay: RM 17,995.39 (includes RM 4,795.39 for new insurance with AIG)

Old car to be sold to second hand car dealer):

The Confusing Part:

My zeekr sales agent just asked me to pay RM 1,292.75 + RM 30 runner fee = RM 1,322.75 to a personal account for "NCD withdrawal".

Here's what doesn't make sense:

1. My VSO already shows I paid RM 4,795.39 for the new car insurance

2. My current car insurance (Takaful Malaysia) shows I paid RM 1,547.90 - when I cancel, shouldn't I RECEIVE a refund instead of PAYING?

3. Why pay to a personal account instead of car dealership company account?

4. When I asked for clarification, SA said "the insurance company will issue receipt after withdrawal" but didn't specify which insurance company

My Questions:

1. Has anyone experienced paying for NCD withdrawal before? I thought NCD withdrawal is FREE when you cancel insurance?

2. Is it normal to pay to a personal account for this kind of transaction?

3. Shouldn't I be receiving a refund from Takaful Malaysia when I cancel my existing car insurance?

4. What exactly is this RM 1,292.75 for?

5. Should I request an official invoice before making this payment?

New car loan agreement already signed and I want to make sure everything is legit before transferring money to a personal account.

Would really appreciate any advice from those who've been through similar situations!

I just went for a look on a normal wira sedan and a wira SE
The normal sedan I drive and feel it’s quite good and the SE version has some problem mounting issue and absorber issue

The price for the sedan is 1.8k and the 1.5k for the SE
The main for the sedan is A/C working working but the air is hot
Which one will you guys recommend
