Way back in 2003, I saw Kings of Leon (and Regina Spektor) open up for The Strokes two nights in a row at The Theater at MSG. I bought their first album in anticipation and have been a fan ever since. Here's one of the few shots I have from the first night. Tickets were $35 plus $8.40 in fees (I still have both stubs).

Movies featuring KOL

Was pleasantly surprised to hear kings of leon while watching Talladega nights. What other shows/ movies feature their music?

I wish I could see King of Leon play a show as if it were 2007.

Their first three albums are pure gold. Awesome music. Just fuggin awesome. Then that shit stick came out; Sex on Fire. Yuk! That changed everything.

I wish I could see them play a show where they only had their first three albums to choose from.

Any word on the next album?

Didn’t Caleb say that it would drop in the early part of this year? Or am I remembering wrong. We’re creeping up on the mid way point of 2026. Any new news? Any speculation?
