Love a day when I get to fly a 75ft tube tail
The winds could’ve been stronger and more consistent. Had to walk this one a bit lol.
Prism Synapse 170 at the Gateway Arch
Was on a roadtrip from Michigan to Texas and along the way stopped in St. Louis and visited the Gateway Arch for the first time. Brought my Prism Synapse 170 since it’s easy to carry around.
Got some flying in.
Here’s a short little POV of some light wind bliss.
My kite line snapped today at the beach
I was having a great time flying my Prism Bora 7 today at the beach. The wind was strong and consistent and my friends and I were passing it around. Then one strong gust came and snapped the line, sending the kite floating away onto the roof a 10 story beach condo.
I loved this kite a lot and was wondering if I should just get the same one again or if maybe theres a better quality option for a similar parafoil. For $60 I thought it was a very well made, but maybe the line just wasn't strong enough?
We had a great fun fly yesterday, it was a fun day spent with lots of amazing friends, and getting some fly time in. A beautiful day for flying yesterday 🤗🪁❤️🪁🤗🪁❤️🪁🤗.
Kite festival in The Netherlands. Sadly the weather isn't that fine. But the kites are beautiful.
youtube.comA small winter kite festival on the Adriatic coast: NIKF Izola, Slovenia
We organized a rather large international kite festival in Slovenia back in 2022, but unfortunately didn't have much luck with sponsors to make another. So we reckoned that while we can't go big, we can go small - and invited a couple of kite flying friends for a weekend in January.
We had very little wind (except one night - a NIKF - and one kite aerial photography session), but we had so much fun ... We will definitely do it again - and again, and again (if one can't invite 100 kite flyers for a big festival, one can do 10 small festivals with 10 flyers for even more amazing moments!) ...
