Happy 4th of July, everyone.
I just wanted to wish you all a happy Fourth and say how blessed we are to live in a country where we can still carry a knife and a gun. Let us relish that for a minute. I know it’s easy to take things for granted sometimes, but when you realize that almost all of the globe’s citizens aren’t allowed to own or carry firearms, and in many places knives aren’t nearly as accessible either, it really puts things into perspective.
I hope through all the fun, booze, BBQ, and fireworks, we can all take a moment to appreciate how great of a country the USA is. Sure, I could be a Debbie Downer, and I’m sure plenty of people will spend today complaining about this thing or that thing, without realizing the irony that in many parts of the world you don’t even have the freedom to complain the way we do.
On another note, we’ve made it to 3.5k members. I appreciate every single one of y’all. Whether you’ve been here since day one or just found us recently, thank you for helping make this community what it is.
I’d love to see your 4th of July posts today. Show off your carry, your range trip, your BBQ, your fireworks, or whatever you’ve got going on. I’d especially love to see some posts from the guys who’ve been here since day one.
Love y’all. I hope you have a fun, safe, and beautiful day today.
Happy 4th of July, Friends. 👏🇺🇸
