If you or someone you know needs to get out of the heat, visit us at the library. We have water for those in need, comfortable seating and - of course - plenty to read (including magazines and newspapers). You don't have to do anything at all while you're here, and you don't have to buy anything. You could just soak up the AC and vibe.

Our Main location is 220 N. Union St. and our South location is 1755 E. Center Road. Both are open Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Our Russiaville branch is closed on Wednesdays but otherwise has the same daily hours.

I plan on moving here to be with my boyfriend in the upcoming years and I just want to know what to expect. I've visited him up there, I live in New york.

I am a trans women, my partner says this city is more progressive than the rest of the state, is that true?

How is Healthcare?

Are groceries relatively affordable?

And finally,

Where are some places to go? I've only been to a few but I'd LOVE to see (most) of kokomo and what the city has to offer!

Hi all!
I’m a local artist who currently has a residency at a studio in town. I see a lot of posts on here about people (specifically ages 22ish-30ish) who want to make new friends and meet people but aren’t having any luck.

Would there be an interest in coming to an Art Social event? I would host it at the studio and can have about 20 people. It would likely be simple craft type things that everyone could enjoy.

Is there an interest for that type of thing?

If yes, what kind of activities would you be interested in?
