I am a JEE student in kota and this is my 2nd year living here.
People used to say that Kota is very unsafe and i wasn't trusting it. But since past 2 months, this city made me feel very unsafe as a girl.
Like today, I woke up early and thought to wander around with my friend. While walking around, few people commented ki "kitni pyari ladkiyan h.. baat karu inse?" loudly enough for us to hear.
And there was a car roaming around the streets which crossed us 4-5 times. I have noted down the no. Plate too.
And it even glided near us to drag the attention. The boys in the car were staring in a very creepy way.
I never expected Kota to be this unsafe even in broad daylight.

Hey everyone, I've been dealing with hair loss for a while now and want to consult a dermatologist who specializes in hair/scalp treatment. I'm based near Coral Park, Kota, so someone in that area (or not too far) would be ideal.
If you've had a good experience with any dermatologist here, please share their name/clinic. Also open to hearing about your treatment experience (PRP, minoxidil, etc.) if relevant.
Thanks in advance!
Does anyone else prefer deep conversations over small talk?
I’ve never really been good at small talk. I can do it obviously, but I usually find myself wishing we’d just skip the usual what do you do? and how was your day? stuff and talk about something real not npc stuff bruh🥴🥴😭🙏
I like talking about pretty much anything that makes you stop and think ....death, sex, intelligence, magic, the meaning of life, childhood, relationships, random fears, insecurities, dreams, or just some completely stupid thought that popped into your head at 2 AM.
And I really like this type of Convo but I'm not able to find a mahila mitr jisse yeh sab baath kar saku bc and I have heard ppl saying it's becoming depressing and now I know the reason the hard way😭😭 obviously it will become depressing mkc pheli baar dekh rha hu without coed system yeh dekh ke Mera dimag ka system hil gya hai bc itna akela pan Aaj Tak feel nhi hua 😭😭😭😭🙏🙏
That’s kind of why I’m posting this. I figured instead of hoping I randomly meet someone like that esi jagh dispossible hai iss janam mein matlab it's possible but hey kya fayda bc reddit ka jab use hi na kar payu iska sahi se
Just looking for a jainwin friendship and someone I can actually connect with. Koi faltu pressure, nah weird expectations. If we get along, we get along then yay yay scene fir 🥳🥳😃
Where can i get converse sneakers in kota?

I'm new here and a student. I don't wanna visit a hospital with big expenses, a clinic would be preferred.
Thanks :)
Hey everyone,
I’m working on launching a micro food / grab-and-go setup here in Kota, specifically tailored for students and folks rushing between coaching batches, self-study sessions, and PGs.
Not looking to build another heavy mess/thali joint or a slow sit-down cafe. The goal is super quick service, clean/hygienic, pocket-friendly, and food/drinks you can actually grab in a 10-minute break.
Before finalizing the operational setup, I really want to get raw feedback from people actually living the Kota life right now:
Menu & Beverages: What items are you missing right now? Sick of oily street food, or do you just want cleaner, solid versions of rolls, wraps, momos, quick bowls, cold coffee, iced teas, boba, soda, energy/protein drinks? Or something new?
Pricing: What’s the sweet spot per order for a quick snack + drink combo where it doesn't hurt your daily budget?
Timings & Delivery: What hours do you struggle to find good food the most (e.g., late-night study sessions vs. 6 AM morning rush)? Also, do you actually order delivery to PGs for micro-meals, or do you always walk out?
Frustrations with existing spots: Is it long wait times, bad packaging, unhygienic prep, or inconsistent quality?
Locations: Landmark City, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Talwandi, Jawahar Nagar, or somewhere else? Where do you feel there's a huge crowd gap during batch exit hours?
Student Retention & Hype: What would actually make you a regular customer here instead of switching to the next random stall? Any loyalty plans, subscription ideas, combo deals, or vibes that would make a spot instantly click with you guys?
Would love to hear any random thoughts, menu must-haves, or dealbreakers. Appreciate any insights: thanks in advance!
P.s. Used Gemini to organise the post.
