Okay not 100% done, want to rework some parts , but happy so far :)
I am currently at 1k pure kroot list. I have gotten 2 Kroot hunting pack boxes and a Kroot Combat Patrol. On top of that I got a Trail Shaper, an extra Lone Spear and 10 Kroot Hounds. What would be the easiest and/or best way to expand to 2k based on what I have?
A just-for-fun model I wanted to build from the new Necromunda Slopper. Maybe could count as an Ethereal or a third Flesh Shaper if I ever need one?
After careful deliberation and some quick sketches I have decided the best form for a flying infantry Kroot is based upon the body plan of a Microrapter, where they retain their 4 limbs as well as growing feather on the aforementioned limbs. They would have functioning hands and feet as well as an elongated feathered tail to aid with flight. The aptly named Floots would probably have other features such as longer beaks, extra feather growth on their bodies or smaller statures depending on whatever meat the shaper decided to aim for. I realise that they would probably look goofy as shit whilst in flight and would probably have to shoot their rifle with their feet as they glide but I feel as if this is the way. Let me know what you think and If I’m missing anything.

WIP of my first Kroot from the Kill Team. I love painting it.
Brought the combat patrol and this is how far I've gotten. I find the krootox to be a bit daunting, trying to figure out what colourschemes to go for with the bigger guys. So far I'm the most proud of one of my first guy, the center onebin first pic and last pic. Having a great time painting, love all the little details!
If I would ever wanna join my partner and actually play, is there a good way to get a hold on the rules for the CP? I'd rather buy paints than rules 🫣
I’m making a red Kroot army heavily based on the the alternate scheme in the codex. Would love feedback , still not sure about the shoulder pads and the bases. I was trying to go for a rocky/irony planet inspired by red rock canyon. Thanks 🙏
This is my first conversion for the Kra'hang Kindred. The lore in a nutshell is that these Kroot encountered and fought a bunch of different giant bugs that appeared to be cooperating somehow, ate them, and eventually gained the ability to communicate with them and tap into their 'psychic network' for lack of a better word. Now they're best friends and do stuff like this. Basically the world of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, but the toxic jungle is the whole planet and also there are Kroot.
