I just finished the prologue and curious

So I went to the Mango Factory youtube channel to look for dialogues from the prologue that I wanted to reread, and I saw that the first execution is posted on the channel. And maybe I'm off-base but it seems like the title of the video basically just tells you who it is? Or at least it makes a very unsubtle allusion to someone's absolute talent. I haven't watched the video

I haven't seen anyone die yet and I guess it's not a huge deal being spoiled since it's just the first chapter but a big part of these games to me is solving the mysteries myself. I hope maybe in the future the execution titles won't be in the youtube video title on official channels

I’ve seen people say that the end of the trial handles Moichi as an abuse victim poorly, and dismisses his trauma. I feel like that’s a really poor way of looking at things.

Arguments I read were along the lines of “Moichi is allowed to feel however he wants about Himari contributing to his trauma, Hiroshi is wrong for dismissing that. Especially right before Moichi dies” But I couldn’t disagree more. I dunno if this is a common take, but

I feel like anyone who says this ignores the fact that Moichi’s whole character revolves around this childhood trauma. He has been affected so much by it that it has led him into becoming a reflection of his abusive father, and he is clearly continuing the cycle of trauma. He mistreats Himari, and the entire class of students. Hiroshi isn’t saying that Moichi isn’t allowed to feel unhappy about Himari’s role in his trauma- he’s saying that Moichi is taking out his frustration about his abuse on Himari, and was effectively just retraumatizing her before his death. Hiroshi saw that Moichi was continuing the cycle of trauma, and he wanted him to stop so that he could say goodbye to his sister in a meaningful way before his death.

I have my own issues with the Episode 1 writing (a lot) but this is not one of them. Moichi’s character is excellent. Just wanted to tangent about this rq lol

We know Reiji targeted Mochiro, got killed, and the twin frames Himari (fucked up but I guess the trauma makes it make sense). I forgot the reason why music man did that to him specifically but I guess lawyer man was just bring down the vibes dude.

So what if he targeted the other twin. Himari would not have the power to defend herself, thus getting murdered. Booo another Kaede situation I know. But I part of me just wants to see this to look into Mochiro’s mind seeing her dead sister especially if he got framed. I doubt Reiji would be able to do a similar set up to him so it be more lousy. Probably an easier trial unless he’s hiding stuff about himself we won’t ever know.

I was just invested in the sibling drama and imagining Mochiro trying not to care but ending up breaking down in the inside. Would be so fucked up if Reiji did it to fuck with Mochiro so he would never reconcile with his sister. Her last words being “Mochiro, I’m sorry. Help me..”. Like ugh imagine how intense that would be. I prefer what we got but ughhh the angst in this one and the fact everyone wouldn’t really want to talk to Mochiro, making him fully isolated besides some interactions with Erika or Kazan and maybe Hiroshima?

I got an idea for this video I’m editing, but I need a certain character to do it. Anyone know where I can find character sprites, official or not (edited out of the game)?

I just finished Chapter 1. I have opinions but I would say I view the game overall positively. I’m excited for chapter 2, but I’m wondering if the devs have ever said when they plan to release it? Is there a timeline anywhere or is it most likely the same length of time from the demo to chapter 1?
