How to: Crown a Witch (for new players and people that just don't know how)

Very quick and simple guide that I made for new players.

I noticed some people have said that they've NEVER crowned a witch before and I was shocked; I was under the impression that witch-crowning was something everyone knew. Clearly not.

So I made this "tutorial". It goes through everything you might realistically do against the witch if she's around.

Or you can do this.

Jimmy Gibbs Jr!

"Forgive us, Jimmy, but we need your car."

I recreated Jimmy Gibbs car in wreckfest 2! I'm really proud of how the cursive writing and the sponsers came out! Theres definitely some stuff I can improve on but I gotta try doing more cars in the future! Lemme know what you think!

Introducing newbies

I'm going to have some friends over later this month to play l4d2 and I was wondering if I should have them play the l4d1 campaigns first or the l4d2 campaigns any thoughts?

Theories.

Guys, I have a theory here, what if the survivors have become stronger than ordinary people? I mean, neither the blows of the tank nor the claws of the witch kill them. When at the same time we don't meet the military, but only their bodies and cars. Yes, the military certainly does. But all their posts and barricades were destroyed by the infected. And the survivors in the first part and in the second are not without difficulty, but they fight off the infected. I know that they are also carriers of the virus. But what if the survivors also mutated without losing their minds or becoming mutants? But the fact that they can withstand the blows of a tank, thugs, surprises me. Or maybe I just said something stupid. What do you think about this?

L4D2 route

So my brother and I were talking zombies which lead to l4d2. I had questions about the route and looked at the wiki. It says they took the car to the carnival in griffin county, GA. But there is no griffin county. I thought maybe they meant griffin the city, but it's not off I-16, I-16 turns into a different highway in Macon. Am I totally off base here? Can anyone help mee make sense of the route?

heres sort of a small problem I have with many nightmare weapon addons

I wish they had more unique animations than just using l4d1 animations all the time. I want to see more variety. some can have normal l4d1 or 2 animations but i think some should be varied.

I see alot of NMRIH, CoD or RoN aniamtions used for alot of tacticle weapons, maybe some nightmare weapons can use CoF animations or even Doom 3 for instance, let there be some fun in the nightmare mod than just constant seriousness.

I know I probably shitted on the mod a bunch of times but in all seriousness I think the mod has potential but relies too much on being BETA VERSION or something.

I hate using the word slop but at this point it's sadly necessary. it's a shame because theres a bunch of awesome looking weapons with the nightmare aesthetic.

Baldi mod concept: Baldi's Basics Rhythm

I got this really cool but probably impossible Baldi mod concept.

Its baldi's basics classic but Baldi's slap interval is determined by the beat of music that your able to play by giving it a mp3. meaning he could be really fast depending on the beat or slow as a snail.

Getting a notebook wrong doesn't change when he can slap but changes his actual speed meaning the angrier, he gets the more tiles he can move which of course cools down back to normal after a while.

You can also choose to give yourself a Bsoda that never runs out before jumping it.

It's a mod less focused on story mode and more on endless mode which changes Baldi's anger to increase over time and cool down if you keep getting notebooks right. mainly cause classic is a short game and it would be better to design the concept with a mode where not even a simple beat means your safe if you aren't trying to get notebooks.

This is a very poorly done example of how baldi's slap would work in something like this using a part of chainsawman bang bang bang.

Question, where does this games replay ability come from?

I see people with hundreds of hours in this game and I keep having to stop and asking "How?".

I come from Vermintide 2 and love coming to L4D2 to see it's dna every now and then but I feel like it's just a "1 and done experience" if that makes sense.
Is there a lot going on in the back that I am not aware of? Do I treat the campaign as maps rather then a story progression?

How are runs even different from one another? At times I feel like when running the same map to expect the same things.

What's everyone's favourite L4D 1 and 2 campaigns?

I'm curious as to know which ones are your favourites. I heard No Mercy and Dead Center are some of the fan favourites, but for those who don't think they are, what are yours?

Mine are Blood Harvest and either Dark Carnival or Swamp Fever

Playing With GeForce Now

So I recently got GeForce Now and I use it as the main way for my kids to play the PC games I have on Steam without buying a second computer.

It's also giving me an easy way to play some of these multiplayer games with them and I stumbled back on L4D2 after not playing it since it's initial release on console.

I was reading to see if the game is even still active, and I shouldn't be surprised to see that the mod scene is what keeps it alive. However, that brings me to a quandary. Will I be able to utilize mods from the workshop on GeForce Now?

Low graphic.

Hi everyone, I have a weak laptop that even pulls the Left 4 Dead 2 badly. It's more like a 2010 record.

Can each of the mercs survive the Left 4 Dead campaigns on their own?

Assuming they're immune to the virus. Either solo or working together as a team (four at a time, though)

Quick question: What's a good addon for L4D2 to improve gun sounds?

Because, holy moly, having a weapon replacement addon still have the default sounds sucks, especially the pistols. It sucks, does anyone know what's the best one?
