Tulsa Freak Jesus Lana del rey

Hi everyone! I really like Lana Del Rey’s music, but my faith is important to me, and I try to avoid anything that could be considered blasphemous.
Would you consider “Tulsa Jesus Freak” to be blasphemous or disrespectful toward Jesus or Christianity? I’m not looking to start an argument—I just genuinely want to know how other people interpret the song before I decide whether to listen to it.
Thanks in advance!

Wait, is this play about us (Lana)?

I watched an interview a while back with a woman who has worked with Lana, and she said that the best advice L gave her was “to always make sure to keep some things private because there’s nothing more glamorous than having a real life” (I’m paraphrasing, but also that’s very Leo moon of her).

I just thought, wtf else could there be, Lana has shared so much with us, from her greatest traumas and insecurities, to her dreams and hopes, what do you mean there’s more!? I feel like that makes her even more alluring and mysterious lol.

Stove, but make it unreleased

Hiya peeps!

Sorry if the title isn't suitable for the community rules, delete the post if you think it violates them.

I was thinking about the upcoming album "Stove", and how it's been said that it has a "country sound". Which unreleased songs do you think can be reworked and released on this album? I don't know why, but "Serial Killer" was the first one to come to mind.

So much criticism... I don't want to be an entitled fan yelling at her about the next album

Seen a bunch of posts lately full of angry fans complaining about the fact that she hasn't dropped her album yet

I get it y'all but idk why I'm not not going to complain. She has given us sooo many incredible songs, just let her cook. Let her thrive, it's not like we've pre-ordered it and haven't received it and whatnot.

Only if she takes the time to work on it can she put out another excellent album.

Not to mention she has been one of the more prolific artists out there --

Can't a girl just do the best she can. Don't be a critic.

Do you think Lana gets paid by John Deere to mention them in her songs?

Finally listened to White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter or whatever the correct order is and this is the first thing I noticed, she also mentions John Deere in Blue Bannisters iirc. Is there some type of contract? Is ot bc John Deere is the quintessential American tractor brand? I am ever so curious

My introduction to Lana.

Be me in 2012. You're 12 years old and struggle to find people who relate to your retro aesthetic or good artists to listen to.

Lana Del Rey appears on your TV via her h&m advert and you count your lucky stars you were able to easily find out who this angelic voice and unique style belongs to.

My first and favourite song of hers after seeing this advert became "Blue Jeans" and hasn't changed till this day.

A form of advertising that I genuinely don't mind having worked on me.

Does anyone else prefer Lana’s new music to her old music?

I’m a relatively new fan, I listened to Lana a little bit throughout high school and of course I was there in the 2010’s when summertime sadness dropped watching the music video in my grandma’s office lol. But, I’ve thoroughly been a fan and consistently have listened to her music for a few years now and I’ve learned a lot about her in the process. I never really connected with her older stuff of course I do really enjoy it. It’s essentially good music, but I know it’s extremely popular within the fan base and even preferred. some prefer the sound, some prefer the aesthetics, but in my opinion, it doesn’t seem authentic to her whereas her new music does. Which this could be because I am a new fan and don’t know enough because of the sole fact I wasn’t there when it was happening, or it simply could be I just personally resonate with the new music more, or it could be I’m blinded by the aesthetic of now 😆😅 curious to hear y’all’s opinions and what you think! Do you agree?

What ridiculous things have you stumbled across that could be an LDR song and/or album title (if she decided to be completely unserious)?

I saw this headline and had to laugh because, for better or for worse, it did make me think of lanita. What random, funny things have you found that could be an LDR song and/or album title if she suddenly decided to be 100% unserious?
