Do I need to get bottle on SF if I play vs OD on mid? How do i play this lane?

I am trying to get to ancient but ever since I hit legend V 80% its an uphill battle it feels like my team just gets snowballed. So I think most of my losses are due to my horrible laning skills. Also im tb spammer.

There is literally no lane I ever win unless the enemy picks doom or pudge. Also when I lane I feel like im farming slower and its so much risky I just give up my t1 as fast as possible so I can relax in jungle and farm wave coming to t2. But I dont want it to be like this I want to win my lane and take enemy t1 so I dont have to rely on offlaner or mid to create space. If someone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate.

So i left game long ago. Lost the main account came back on a new account after 5 years away. Calibrated low but I've moved up about 1000 mmr. I know I do get reported so maybe it's just that, but literally in 80% of my games, and yes I can post screenshot to prove this, I go 24-5 800 gpm, and every single team mates all 4 go 3-11 or 2-15. In other words the vast majority of matches are extremely one sided and I basically have to 1v5 every single time. I lost 6 in row recently with 20 kills every time like this doing 4x the hero dmg of my team mates and 3x their networth.

Im sure someone may understand what's the root cause of this, everyone can't be experiencing this or they would drop till their mmr is low enough that they can reliably 1v5 every single game. Anyone know if this just reports or a smurf flag? Or is this how the matchmaking works now, it offsets your performance to create a balanced team which makes climbing slow.

Which pos 1 is best to counter PL?
I usually play PA and Juggernaut, but it is not viable. It is so team dependent if we can win or not. Against other matchup I often hit my timings and can singlehandedly carry my team even they are struggling.
While against farmed and fed PL I can’t impact even if I pivot and change build.
I have experimented with bloodseeker and had some success by hunting PL early on, but not sure if that was PL skill issue or just better team.

I'm talking Sniper decked out with damage items plus a Dragon's Breath for good measure, effortlessly preventing people from touching him even when melee heroes who get close to him (at least 3 instances of which became the bane of my few games this week) or something unexpected like an Earthshaker who got this somewhat unholy Trinity of Aghs, Blink and SB (or its upgrade) before anyone of us have properly formulated a way to handle him?

Or you know, submit that even trying to kill them means increasing the gap and just pray they slip up just once?

I play a lot of LC and it's weird, some games it just seems like duel doesn't work, like I'm clicking on the heroes and she just doesn't want to do it. I totally get it, maybe I was having a bad game, maybe it's because I hadn't played her a few days, maybe I was just tired, but time after time I blink in and somehow just miss.

Is it just me, does this ever happen to anyone else? Was the enemy team just quicker than me? But it feels like it happens maybe one out of 15 games where it feels like my clicks just ain't clicking!

Nightstalker (me) with pos 4 Clock vs Kez Lich

1 on 1 NS can just sustain and knock Kez out of lane with Q spam, but for that he needs exp, not to be level 4 when the Kez is level 6 from eating Clock's corpse 5 times.

Very few people queue as support to actually support, most are just 'Fuck I got support. Might as well choose a hero I like and have fun!', and having fun requires them leeching exp so much that they hit level 6 on the same creep that I do.

If you can't lane, then pull. If you can't pull, then gank. If you can't gank, then stack. But no, these people sit with you so long you start wonder who the support is.

I do get it, because getting levels is at least reliable and 'safe', but it's so awful sometimes and I don't have the time every match to have to write out an essay to my 4 just to convince him there's something more productive they could be doing with their time.

Im stumped. I've been doing well on my games until I do support as CM.... That's a lie because I dont really play support completely.. I dont know how?? But its not like im actively trying to kill every enemy, I am supporting in terms of warding and stuff and assisting my teammates but I get called out for being stupid or what and thats what im trying to learn here.

I want to know if there's a place for someone to review my games and see what I should be doing vs what I shouldn't be doing in my specific games.

I do well on my CM which really gets me so confused about WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO???

As a support, how do you deal with long ranged physical damage? If I am playing venge, its even hard to swap sniper because when you walk towards him, you will have to suffer his hits horribly. maybe nyx assassin can do the trick. i just don't know how to counter the hoho-haha abomination. any tips in 1.8k to 2k mmr for this? thanks.

If neutral creep kills an enemy creep, do you get full xp, half xp or no xp?

And what if neutral creep kills an enemy hero?

I love playing Ember, I've played him so much that I got level 30 on him even though I'm terrible at the hero, but every time I'm against an SF I just feel like I can't do anything to survive the lane and also I can't do anything to recover from the lane since I get bullied out so early.

I tried to look at a high-level replay of Sumail playing Ember vs SF but even he gets brought down to like 20% HP with razes and aggressively chased away past his own tower.

What the hell do you even do in this case? Pull the wave and he razes you, stay back to regen and he denies every creep, can't jungle because you're level 3 or some shit with 0 cs. I know it's a losing matchup for Ember, but shouldn't there be some way to minimize the losses?

An old player here and had a long break (8years). I just started playing early this year and then I just reached Archon 1 - 2.4k mmr

Any tips on how to play pos1 or lvl up fast?

Im a Guardian III ranked player, and play position 5, 4 and 3. I usually like to play heroes that can initiate or support from the backlines. The issue happens when I am offlane and the pos 4 picks Bara/Pudge/Windranger/Nature Prophet. Basically, heroes that either push the waves heavily, or hide in shadows to use abilities to specifically find kills. In such scenarios, I alone in lane and both the opponent pos 1 and pos 5 keep harassing me till im low and either cant lane or have to expend heavily on consumables. In the case of bara/pudge/np, they often leave the lane completely to find kills elsewhere and im stranded till the tower goes down, unable to last hit or gain much exp(most of the time, im playing against drow, jugg venge heroes that can hit me from afar and keep me low)... And i feed like 3 kills on average. I play sand king, tidehunter and bristleback offlane the best(as best as a guardian player can)... What should i do differently and how can i lane with such heroes? Or what heroes should i pick as pos 3 to lane better with such heroes?

PS: Not all Bara/Pudge/Windranger/Nature prophet/Veno players are like that, but i hope you get the idea what im talking about. Basically pos 4s that hide and i take all harass or that push the lane soo much that i cant get last hits reliably and continuously starting fights.

if we lose lanes I just lose the game coz farming back up is actually so boring and there's no way in hell I'm sitting in base waiting for creeps to dribble into our base.

what hero should i pick to just run at people 24/7 regardless of the game state?

i like this game i play new player mode and play against bots. in all pick and turbo i play badly but i am doing games with better bots and win? I guess practice or theres something i shoudl know? My favorite heroes rn is sniper,tidehunter,pudge.

I've been enjoying playing drow ranger a lot lately, yet struggling a bit even though she's very meta rn.

I find the lane to be very easy unless enemy can effectively all in you, which I guess is normal since she is a very squishy hero. Lane usually goes very well CS wise until the offlaner gets his lvl 6 and then i feel like i cannot last hit in lane unless under t1 tower which kinda sucks. My main issue with the hero is between this timing of like 10-25 minutes. I'm not sure if i should be farming or coming to fights and I feel like I need to play super defensive.

Also would like some input on itemization. I tend to buy falcon blade, treads, dragon lance every single game but then I find Drow can itemize in very different ways. Usually I end up going for a yasha into pike or manta. Sometimes I buy aghs too if I feel like I need more wave clear or against healing heroes. Can you ever skip manta entirely on drow? Then later i pick up a bkb either before or after some butterfly/ silver edge. I've found that butterfly gives me less value than silver edge lately tbh. So i usually end up getting silver edge daedalus. instead of butterfly. Another question I had was regarding satanic, when should you consider buying satanic? I've honestly had most success not buying it since I feel like if you do get jumped you are most likely dead before you get to satanic heal up in many cases.

Also any general drow ranger tips a low mmr scrub like me would miss are highly appreciated.

There is one game I am forced to pick dragon knight against chaos knight and I struggled cos I cannot pick sven and SK cos it is banned and I couldn’t pick illusion based heroes like PL and naga because I don’t know how to use them. So what should I do if I use DK as his AoE is poor.
