If we address the elephant in the room which is Metamorphosis of TB. I think Fissure is way better spell than the Echo slam.

Often I find that after the supports leave most of my team will be on safe lane, and me 1v1 with enemy carry, I'm not sure what to do there

I usually can't solo kill the carry, and if I go deep behind their tower I might feed to a TP

i usually try to push the wave and get farm safely, and I try to take the easy camp if possible

Also if I try to pull wave while I am solo I might get one or two waves but eventually someone will TP and feed

I usually do well while we are 2v2 in lane but after that the games are going to shit lately

Can anyone checks my Lina gameplay on mid and show me the mistakes as well as suggest things that I should do to win this kinda of game. My team generally won lane, sweep all their tier 2s, yet after roshan it go downhill from there.

So far I thinks my mistakes probably positioning, spell synergy problem, and probally my items, and PA got freefarm. Noted that my team comp is also not good since I'm assumed to be initiator as Lina which I dont play that very well but what would you do given this kind of situation.

I'm 1.5k hours in (1.3k matches) and currently 2.9k mmr. My current understanding is pick a tanky hero with good abilities (stuns), play as a team, get vision, map control, end fast. And it works most of the time, the most common failure is misalignment in team (e.g. carry afk side lane when they couldve farmed enemy jungle or push waves). Is this a mostly correct generalization? I understand that every match has its nuances...

Moved over to offlaner after being a midlaner for ages, and I'm struggling with this area the most. 3.3k mmr.

How do i play lanes where I can't win lane? Either because of the safelane having stronger heroes/counters or my pos 4/team not helping.

Typically, with hard lanes, I'll just try and keep the creep wave just outside of my tower. I'll block their small camp and pull on the large camp if my pos 4 isnt. And just generally play for cs and avoid trading with the enemy as much as possible

If i simply cant stay in lane, I'll look to cut their wave and either drag it to a jungle camp or to my tower.

The issue is the pos 1 tends to basically free farm in this situation, i cant reliably stop them getting last hits without feeding and tend to get the issue off my team pinging the enemy pos 1s items and how its my fault for not stopping them, despite not getting any support from the pos 2, 4 or 5

Example: playing tide against a jugg carry, mag support. Basically couldnt get close without getting skewered into spin. While my pos 4 pudge sat in trees leeching exp and missing hooks when he wasnt "roaming". Magnus made cutting lane impossible and i was 0/3/0 after 10 min with little farm.

Side question: what are you looking to do after laning phase as offlane?

Just cracked into Archon (2.3 k). I like playing mid the most, and usually queue for mid, offlane, safe. My current pool is clinkz mid/safe, and razor for offlane. Sometimes if they're taken/banned i'll play gyrocopter, who feels terrible atm. I don't love afk farming types, and i don't like heroes that don't scale into late.

Any recs? I played a bit of QoP but she feels low impact atm. Ideally i can add 1 to offlane, and 1 to mid or safe.
