Don't know if you are following. But in Spain we have seen the emergence of tenant unions taking over major squares and settling there.

Sol in Madrid hosts more than 1200 tents and has itself become a neighbourhood with its own streets, squares etc.

The movement aims to not just promote rights but actively challange renteirisms legitimacy. We are up to a out 15 seperate camps in spain. I have provided a map with information about the organisations attached.
