I used my US phone number to register LINE account and used it for years.

Today I bought a new iPhone and transferred all data to new. After that I erased the old phone. Then I found I can no longer use my US phone number to log in.

I searched and also asked GPT and seems there’s no solution. I need to recover all records, please help.

I used to use Line on iPhone, a while back, logging in with my phone number. I just tried to reinstall it for some old contact info, and it says that my country can no longer use phone number to verify. The only other verification option I get is to use my Apple account, but I never linked my Line account to my Apple account before, and when I try to verify using Apple it acts as though I am creating a whole new account. Am I just locked out of my old account forever?

I literally can't use my phone because of the region. I'm in the U.S., and two of my friends from Japan want to contact me through LINE. I was able to create a LINE account using my email, but after they gave me their phone numbers, LINE wouldn't let me add my own U.S. phone number.

So few weeks ago I factory reset my phone

Then i re download all my apps

When I tried to get line it asked me either 2 factor varf (since can't login from phone)

I tried to login using my email and still wouldn't let me

Only access I have to the account is from my pc but there is no 2 verif since it's a simple version

I tried to contact them and they have asked me for multiple things

When account was created (ish gave them)

Phone bind (gave them)

Email bind (gave them)

Profile picture (gave them)

Name (gave them)

And even send a screenshot of me login from my pc

And yet they didn't accept it nor are willing to help me further

They even said it's not their fault and unable to give me any refunds for my purchases (coins)

So even with all the info they won't let us back into the account

So what I can even do?

If I somehow get logout from my pc account I lose Everything and everyone friends chats

Stickers (way too many)

And I honestly don't want to lose my account

Anyone had similar problem and got solution?

Using Android btw idk if it counts

apparently timelines are only a japan thing.

i want to know, am i on a different "version" of the app (like just eat that has one for every nation?)? or is it the same app, just with timelines locked behind a wall for people that don't live in japan?

Hello -- I am having a strange issue with LINE and am in danger of losing my account. I am logged into LINE on my desktop (Windows) computer, but I was accidentally logged out of my mobile (Android) device before I could connect my account to Google.

Now I can't log into LINE on mobile because my desktop app doesn't show a QR code, and I can't log in via phone number or Google. I have not been able to submit an inquiry form to LINE because I can't log in! It is very frustrating. Does anyone know a customer service email I can contact for assistance? Thanks in advance.
