Just venting my thoughts regarding the rl market
!!! I absolutely don't want to spread hate towards any players here, just vent some frustration!!! Play the game as you please !!!!
How can some people be so greedy? I see the same names popping up far too often whenever I look for something I like. With RLs, 9/10 times I see the same name appear whenever one is sold.
Look, kudos to you for grinding or playing the game well enough to afford a RL, or for working hard enough in real life to buy plenty of GB with your own money.
But why so many? Sure the thril of owning one is nice, but why so many? Look, you work for it, so I’m not judging, am I jealous? Yes, but that’s not why I’m writing this.
I see that name pop up with negativity too often: "It seems like they bid more on purpose just so another player can't afford their Bday line," or "There was no info on it being for sale anywhere, except for a message saying the winner would DM someone to sell it. Watch out they're a window shopper/sniper."
It doesn't seem like it's about the thrill, showing off, or collecting anymore it almost looks like certain lines are bought specifically to stop someone else from getting them.
Maybe I was raised to be too empathetic, or generous, or whatever, but I just don't get why you’d go after an RL on purpose (?) when everyone knows another one will be up for sale eventually, and this specific one might not even hold sentimental value regarding a particular player. You can get (another) RL without crushing someone's dream.
